New Series by Rick Gervais I loved the pilot episode, it has alot of potential and could well be a gem of a series. the criticism it has drew if very much unfair IMO nothing to suggest Gervais is " taking the piss " out of people with disabilities. Just more gervais bashing really i believe the first episode of the series after the pilot aired in England recently, any reviews ?

We could of been down in league 1 with Leeds if Roman never brought the club. all this bollocks about Roman buying chelsea just for him, well Yes, WHAT OWNER HASNT DONE THAT ? He wants success and a beautiful flowing football team playing great football, whether he goes about it the right way is a different story, but when you see his reactions during a game they are those of a real owner, just look at the difference in CL Final and City's last game of the season to see what the club means to either owners.....

i'd like to see.................... Cech, Azpa, Terry, Cole. Lampard - Oscar - two centre mids, Marin Rm, Mata Lm. Ba n Torres marin needs a run, we're too predictiable, and seeing oscar from deep would be of much interest i think he could be a revelation there, Marin also needs a run of games, he is a good player lacking confidence and match fitness.

With the suspension of Hazard and the Moses being away at the ACN, finally i think we will get a good look at marko and IMO a deserved run in the team, i can't imagine how frustrating it must be for a player of his talent not to even be given a run of games, especially given how congested our fixture list as been. i've never seen him play what i would call a bad game, nothing special as of yet but when you are not starting matches on a regular basis or even given a 3-4 game run then what does one expect. at the very least Marko deserves a chance, and im sure more of us here would like to see him given that chance, he certainly looks like a talented player more so than the likes of kalou and zhirkov etc...

OTT Reactions from the press, most fans just find it funny from what i can see on social media. Still no doesn't excuse Hazard, he'll deserve his 3 match ban, and we all just move on from there, maybe giving Marin a fair crack at the whip as well will worth it and give hazard a rest his played every game this season

i have been living in australia since i was 15 and im only 22 now but what an honour to get a photo next to a statue of peter osgood, one thing we have always miss as a club is having a statue of a true,true,trueeee great ! and for peter to be honoured is amazing but my question is, we have become so successful that do we have anyone you single out as someone who deserves to mentioned with the great peter osgood the obvious choices are Terry Drogba, Lampard. Zola. Chopper. Jose maybe even Robbie ! zola in my personal opinion is the obvious choice, closely followed by frank but that just an opinion, i would love another couple around the whole ground but we'll see what happens !

people keep referring to him playing in the holding midfield role, but why ? his not a DM? surely people mean as CM with a player like lamps or Ramires etc being the holding midfielder .

I have a feeling Torres and Falcao might well be swapping places this summer, but how i would love the faith we have put into Torres to be our main Striker, Put the Same faith in Lukaku and he really could be our next Torres, that raw ability and talent that we all saw is starting to progress rapidly now he is playing football on a regular basis, he really could be our next drogba, remember how late Drogba developed, Lukaku isn't even 20 and he could finish the season on 20 + goals in the premier league for a midtable team Props to our young players this season, Lukaku, Josh And Chalaboh have all been fantastic for their respective teams this season and the one main reason i would love pep to come here is because he really believes in developing young talent and i think he would like the challenge of developing these boys instead of buying big name players like fallaini and falcao.

Roman wants us to be the best club in the world and the more to the point the most stylish, being is downfall but he is just as passionate and devoted as any of the other top owners of the football club, certainly more so than the owners of man city, man united, liverpool or arsenal etc. his decison making is certainly questionable at time but i do not feel his passion for chelsea is !

I dont understand how we were lucky ? we went to games with a gameplan and stuck too it. Messi and Robben missing their penalties aren't luck, Bayern and Barcelona missing clear cut chances is not luck either. What really bothers me is that we had few chances and we put them away, the finishes of ramires and drogba in the SF and Final in particular were superb, really clinical finishing, THE FACT is Barcelona and Bayern weren't clinical enough, if they cannot win at home, against a team with ten men, their captain ! with one recognised centre half, while also missing a penalty then sorry but thats not good enough. If Bayern can't win at home after having the majority of possession and going up with 8 minutes to go, having a penalty awarded in extra time while also going up in a penalty shoot out then thats not good enough either. The reason we are The Champions of Europe is simple. WE were clinical, WE fought back from defeat and WE put away or chances. Goals win football matches not possession Both those teams did not take their chances or games by the scruff of the neck, theres no luck involved in them miss hitting a shot and seeing it go wide, its poor finishing on their part, There's no luck when petr cech saves a penalty, is Petr Cech saving it because of his athleticism and will to work hard and study each penalty taker. We are the deserved champions of Europe. Simple.

Roman has come in for a lot of criticism of late and rightly so, his reactions in the champions league were those of a proper fan and not some rich snob trying to make a few quid while having a good time. his invested alot of money into this club, more than anyone else in world football, his true crime is that he wants us to THE BEST and the most ADORED club, playing the best football. i firmly believe that if he gets Pep Guardiola, that Pep will have 100% control. another plus side of all this is Romans son !!! he was in tears after we had won the CL, so if something were to happen to Roman, God Forbid, the man inheriting a large chunk of that money is just as big a fan ! if not BIGGER !

To be honest mate, i didnt like him playing against Everton, watching him his discipline was awful and like someone above has said he tried the hollywood pass or shot too much and his positioning for a central midfielder is poor. If anything he cares to much, we all know he is an extremely passionate guy but i fear this transcends onto the football field and that tries to win matches on his own by bursting into midfield or making last ditch tackles etc he needs a cooler head and this thread wasnt based on last night, like i said, i wasn't happy with any of his performances bar a below bar sub teams from mexico and a game we won 8 nil ! and people are saying they don't mind him playing against smaller teams, well QPR are bottom of the table and the man was woeful last night ! This isn't trying to single luiz out because of our loss last night but i feel it was one of many factors and experiment that isn't working, there's probably a good reason why he hadn't been tried in the centre of midfield by other managers and we're seeing it now.

IMO this is our real season of transition, with one or two signings in the summer, say, falcao and fellaini and add to that Pep Guardiola arriving next season could be our best ever ! This was always on the cards. when you change your style of play so dramatically with alot of players who are used to playing in a much more solid and defensive way. I just wish RDM was given the freedom to manage without the constraints of TOTAL football and just winning football matches.

Does anyone else here feel that this has been a failed experiment ? his had two good games there, one against monterray a team from mexico and one against aston villa in what we all know was an absolute demolition job. Too many times does he try the killer pass or the audacious shot from 35 yards out, but he lacks the real discipline of the role IMO and he hasnt brought this extra attacking option that he was apparently meant to add to the team. When you consider he is in there instead of Ramires, someone who is twice the play in the center of the park than he is then i think it is time to leave this experiment alone for a little while. he was lucky to stay on the pitch against everton, was poor against norwich, corinthians and now against qpr.this isnt the time to be re-training players into new positions when you are so far behind the leaders of the comp with an outside chance of winning it, which after tonight im afraid could be all over. really up to us to take max points against the teams when we meet them in the league now and hope the likes of tottenham and arsenal do us a favour.

Super Frank ofcourse i have to say, Luiz in center midfield today was a mistake, against lesser teams i like it but he looks out of his depth today, no tactical nous about him, he ran around like a headless chicken and constantly tried playing killer balls instead of keeping possession when we were under the pump, i was certain he was going to be sent off !

the bit that makes me laugh is the 250,000 fine malaga get, How the f**k does that help them ? surely the ban is enough ? just more money in FIFA's pocked for their first class flights around the globe

theres still quite a few players who fulfilled there potential on that list ! but like always alot of these young players cant live up to the hype, alot of players who go under the radar seem to develop into the best of the best in world football. i always use frank as a prime example, moving to chelsea when he was 23 ! and still a player developing ! and you see what he has achieved at the top level, it proves you dont have to be a world beater at 20 just because your hyped up at 17 - 19 and that hard work really does pay off.
