May i ask people why they feel the need for another CB ? IMO we have 4 absolutely fantastic Central defenders in Cahill, Terry, Luiz and Ivanovic, as well as chalobah. Easily the best in the league by some margin, maybe there is a worry about a lack of pace if luiz is not playing in the centre but apart from that i really can't imagine why.

his a young lad, he has a had IMO a good first season at chelsea, played well in games and scored goals. i seriously think some chelsea fans are starting to get a bit delusional about our squad players, he comes on and does a good job, he has been very effective in certain games and can only get better. He will never be a mata or a hazard, that is pretty obvious and common sense. he wasn't as awful as people make out last night and it doesn't help when the manager takes off the a player whom he replaces who was having an absolute blinder. his touch and control is being compared to hazard on a good night and lets face it, not many other players in the world are as good as him when he is in that form ! he is young, relatively cheap and does not mind rotating. scores goals and is getting better, good luck to the lad, it his a big step up from wigan to chelsea but some fans here seem to expect perfection and miracles. football isn't an exact science, he has had a 7/10 season.

Personally i don't rate his as highly as he rates himself as a manager. But also some suggestions that he come to the club do deliberately ruin us etc i believe are wrong, he has gone about his job in a professional manner amid some pretty bad abuse, that video that was circulating after a game when he walked of the pitch was pretty disgusting if you ask me, chelsea fans or not. If he wins the europa league and qualifies us for the CL then maybe i won't look back on this season as such a bad one, and once Jose arrives it will as be as if he was never here anyway. good luck to him, i don't begrudge people because of comments made in football, alot of you are just as bad ! haha sometimes we can take comments said way to seriously, Jose himself is hardly a saint.

Falcao. he is deadly with his head, left foot, right foot, inside/outside the box. he would score goals wherever he played, with the likes of lampard, mata, hazard,oscar etc We will be the dogs bollocks end of !

i agree with the above comments, Beast of a player but all good things come to an end, an absolute chelsea legend and top guy, those goals against the arse and barcelona will never be forgotten, ABSOLUTE SCREAMERS !! however those injuries have hampered his play, his just not quite at that same level that he was such a shame. CB for me, he has improved for the majority of this season, and he has matured has a player. If we manage to get JM then i think it will only benefit him, he will have a certain amount of license with the ball but Jose will not let him take risks at the back. If he continues to improve his concentration then i see no reason why he can't be as Great a CB as riccy carvalho was. No way will he ever be a quality DM, against smaller teams with a license to go forward then yes, but when we are playing the likes of munich,Real madrid, Barca, Man U etc....

a couple of people have been a bit harsh on ramires, he is a special kind of player, he isn't going to be amazing in every game he plays because he isn't your typical footballer he has unique in a sense and because of the three amigos he hasn't had the chance to play in that front three and really use that athleticism to its full effect but still by far our best CM and is really a question of who partners him in the big games. ps. and how can anyone not love a guy who always get stuck in ! LOVE IT !

He will play at the top level that is for sure, whether it is the elite, Is down to us and Him. one of the reasons i would have loved to have Pep G here is because he has faith in young, quality players and gives them a chance to develop properly at the top level.

Carragher was a superb CB, He just so happened to be in a generation with Campbell, Terry and Ferdinand. To scousers he is our JT, good luck to him.

To many here after the turmoil we have had, this looks like a no brainer question, but my answer to this question is no. Jose is a Fantastic Manager, Superb,Brilliant etc.... but he is also driven, ego driven and really just plain greedy, he wants trophies, and thats all he wants, he moves from teams every 3 - 4 years (roughly) then moves on the next chelsea manager needs to win games, win trophies, challenge for the title to the bitter end and at he very least, Given Jose's track record he has been to some of the best teams in europe, some of the greatest academy's and yet not many a young player has produced under him, IMO a main contributing factor is that he doesn't plan on 'Building' a team in the sense a Sir Alex, a Wenger, a Guardiola, would, he doesnt have the time we have players like Courtbais, De bruyne, Chalaboh, Josh, Lukaku, Piazon. thats really just naming few, and all those players above could well play in the premiership next year and play damn well ! We need a manager to build, whether he is given the time i dont know, but we need to at least allow the oppertunity for thse boys to develop, each and everyone is capable of BIG, BIG things.

maybe he stayed during the summer because he has faith in his ability ? people have a good at footballers for stuff like this but he has signed a CONTRACT, he does his job, he turns up to work everyday like we do, does his best, goes home i am more than certain that we would all be extremely angry that if we had signed a contract at work then told sorry you can go whenever you want, you would bleed the contract dry ?? any BS about being loyal, malouda has never ever been disruptive to the team, is a popular figure among the players, his french, we are not HIS team. we should of payed out his contract if we wanted rid of him, its our fault, guess who offered him his contract !!!!! good, Lennon is a f**king useless manager, all this touting of him being one of the new great upcoming managers is total bullsh*t, pretty easy with no competition, reaching the last 16 of the CL shouldn't qualify as success

Strange you bring this up when torres had a very good game against wigan yesterday, if he played like that more often people wouldnt be so fed up with him, he never scored but you knew he was on the pitch ! Flick ons, assists, tackles, anticipation. work rate. i actually think it was one of his best days in a chelsea shirt, if he consistently played like that and found the net a tad more i would be pretty happy

i really think if we play him in the middle next to lampard/ramires then he could well blossom into one of the greatest midfielders in the world. Currently being played out wide really doesnt suit him, he looks good still simply because of just how skilful he is but i really don't think he its doing him justice. Himself,Ramiers,Frank,Chalaboh rotating midfield next season would be superb

been watching him in matches for West Brom this season and he has been an absolute monster ! if he was given a run in this chelsea team i think we could well have had a few extra points on the board.

Ba and Torres upfront, marin and mata out wise, Frank, oscar/ Ramires in the middle the one thing that i like about Sir Alex is that although he has a preferred formation he changes it from time to time, we along with other clubs have been playing the same formation for the last 9 years !
