  1. Would be more beneficial to Arsenal if they kept him and then let him go on a free to be honest. He may even sign a new deal if they are in a strong title challenging position by Jan. If he's definitely not going to sign a new deal then yeah, you're right they should sell.
  2. Because they don't need him.
  3. That's a rather extreme point of view. Why are you talking about his time at Chelsea? He's clearly improved while he's been at Swansea, he's not all about head down and running down the flanks now although he will do that when boxed in with no options. Moses is no different, expect that he can dribble but at the expense of being able to pass and move like Sinclair.
  4. Actually meant shooting as opposed to finishing but I suppose they are one of the same. And yes, I vividly remember the goal he scored against us. I think everyone does. Reason he scored less goals than Moses is because he had less chances and also played less games. The fact that he was chosen to take their penalties shows that he is a good finisher and the manager rates him above Sigurdsson who is a very, very good PK taker. You can assume some of his passing was to do with the way Swansea play but that's not really fair on Sinclair as Wigan played the same way and Moses didn't play the same through balls/over the top chips that Sinclair did. Better crosser than Moses? Yes, at this moment in time. Moses can't cross at all, maybe 1 every 20 goes on target. Sinclair can always improve that slightly to a good enough standard whereas Moses will have to put in a lot of work to improve his. Both Moses and Sinclair drift out of games, they are young and still learning. More intelligent with his passing and movement and general awareness of what's going on around him. Moses dribbles head down all the way to the corner flag and eventually loses it, things like that are frustrating to see. Like I said, Sinclair can't dribble the same way Moses can so he's obviously going to stick to what he's good at and use his pace. All I'm saying is given a choice between the two to play on the right, I would pick Sinclair. Both Moses and Sinclair played on the left and look far better than they did on the right based off last season. Seeing as neither of them are particularly great on the right, I would rather have Sinclair because his technical ability is better. He's also got pace too which is helpful too.
  5. Porto hijacked Alvaro, both were meant to go to Benfica.
  6. Sinclair and Dyer switched flanks quite often so it's not like he can't play on the right at all. Moses spent most of last season on the left cutting in and that's when he looked more dangerous. He is better, not by a great deal but he's still better. He's a better finisher, passer, crosser and is a lot more aware of his surroundings. He can't quite dribble like Moses or use his strength in the same way but he makes up for that with his pace and being intelligent with the ball. There is nothing that Moses is better than Sinclair at bar the obvious.
  7. Would much rather have Sinclair back than get Moses. Moses can't play upfront on his own anyway so the whole he plays striker point is moot unless we switch to a formation with 2 strikers, which is unlikely.
  8. Really have to break down everything when I'm on here don't I. My point about the lucky deflections was that it was what prevented the keeper from saving the shots. Of course they were on target but without the deflection it would most likely have been saved. The 1 awful shot I mentioned got ruled out actually, if I remember right so you're right about that I wasn't comparing Di Santo and Moses, where did you get that from? I simply said that over the course of the season, Di Santo was the better player. Worked harder for the team, grabbed goals and some assists as well. Moses was pretty much non existent at the start of the season and even during it at certain parts when they were getting thrashed by 3 and 4 goals, it was the likes of Di Santo that were the ones doing most of the work. Depends on what you consider better, he's always been a good dribbler, had pace and strength to burn so nothing much has changed in that regard. No one has questioned that, it's his technical ability that has always been called to question. I know he's the type of player that is needed on the wing, don't think I've disagreed with anyone who has said that. I'm simply bringing up valid concerns about his technical ability. The successful dribbles thing is a moot point really, nice to see or read about but it's nothing to take seriously as it's not something that has a valid means of measurement. And if really want to focus on it so much we might as well resign Tore, he was the most successful dribbler is all of Europe.
  9. A 13 year old Moses would have gotten double digits for us? I don't disagree with that, my point was that he's seriously lacking in his technical abilities. Basic things like passing and shooting which he should have got a good grasp of by now considering the amount of football he has played. I can't see his potential improving those areas much further, if at all.
  10. I wouldn't say he couldn't finish, he quite clearly could as he proved in France. Was why many top teams were after him in the first place. He was getting adjusted to a new league (The injury didn't help either) and even then he still managed to get double digits each season.
  11. 3 of the 6 goals he scored were lucky deflections with 1 being an awful shot that was going completely wide. Great that it went in the end but it's still pretty worrying that he can't finish unless he's a few feet away from goal. Assists is okay but there were too many occasions where he didn't complete/set up assists cause he was too busy admiring his boots. He may have been their best player (Debatable, Di Santo stood out more to be honest but people can't get past Moses performance v a few of the big teams) but he was also the main reason why Wigan scored so few goals.
  12. Lass Diarra, Borini, Stoch, Tore, Tejera, Robben & Johnson. I hear Geremi is a free agent now, chuck him in as well for the sake of it.
  13. I would settle for him being able to pass and shoot properly to be honest.
  14. Why are you so convinced that Schurrle is flat out better than Hulk?
  15. He can and I hope he does. He can be our Yaya Toure in a sense, you either need a box to box player or a playmaker playing next to the CDM. Doesn't always have to be someone that can pick out passes, just running at players is enough to create space.
  16. Sadly I think Reading will, they don't have any good wingers and their strikers are average as hell. Defence is okay though but they won't score enough. Swansea will be alright, they have always (well, majority of the times anyway) played the same way regardless of who is there. They already signed Michu who will probably do better than Sigurdsson. When they sell Allen, they can get a much better players with the £15m. Think West Ham will go down along with Reading, not sure on the 3rd team though.
  17. He has more than enough defensive qualities to make a good right back. He used to be a right back as well so he should have no problems playing there again. It's a nice option to have.
  18. I meant given a chance lately, Navas, etc all get in ahead of him despite him being the better player.
  19. Really? I'm quite surprised. Maybe not huge on an international level because he doesn't get given a chance for Spain but at club level I would say he is quite huge, there was massive interest in him before he joined Malaga.
  20. I don't understand, are you saying they have or that he hasn't got a huge reputation? By huge I don't mean world class by the way.
  21. Arsenal have pretty much signed Carzola, medical done today and will be confirmed by Friday. €15m is the price being mentioned, signing of the bloody season that. Don't think they have had signed someone with such a huge reputation before. Maybe Poldoski.
  22. Has to be Hazard really, Torres can get away with a similar season to last (Not too similar though). He was extremely unlucky not to get more goals, keepers pulling off wonder saves that they wouldn't be able to do again in their life, etc. Can't see the same thing happening this season. Hazard simply has to step up and create lots of chances and also chip in with the goals, he's going to be the main attacking outlet which will give room for the likes of Mata and Oscar to pick their passes as defenders will be focusing on Hazard. If he's slow to start then the likes of Torres, Mata and Oscar will find it hard to get going as well.
  23. No, all have to be 21 or under. Edit: My bad, I was thinking of how it was done elsewhere. You can have 4 over 21 players, 1 of them has to be a keeper.
  24. More interested in Frei to be honest.
