Hulk coming to Chelsea?
Not really as most of those are subs, which I already mentioned is the only thing he's good for.He only had James Milner ahead of him for the RW role in 2010 so the depth point is moot. Tevez didn't play for months last season so I won't include him. Nasri, when he joined, was preferred on the right as well despite it not being his best position, although he did grab some goals from there. While I dislike the term MOTD player, it's the only thing I can think of to describe Adam Johnson. I used to think he was class as well until I actually watched the guy properly. Awful as in not good enough for top teams like City, at teams like Everton, etc he would be a good player

Then they would have had next to no chance of qualifying for the CL, so why should they have sold him? It's probably £25m upfront and then a bunch of other bonuses because it wouldn't make sense for Levy to turn down bids of £30m+ and then accept that.

Hulk coming to Chelsea?
Adam Johnson? 25 years old? Guy who does a few tricks? Scores a good goal or assist and then shows complete disinterest in the rest of the match? Can barely influence a game unless chucked on near the end of the game as a sub?No, I think it's the right guy.

Hulk coming to Chelsea?
I can assure you City would glady bite our hands off if we even enquired about him. There is a reason he doesn't get games and it's because he's awful.

Yeah he did, but has done next to nothing since. He is poor for a top team like United, could get away with it at teams like Everton or something. He literally can't do anything else apart from waiting in the box hoping for a pass/cross to reach him. They wouldn't be after RVP if Hernandez could score regularly and Welbeck (Nothing great in front of goal by United's standards but his link up play, passing, etc is fantastic) wouldn't have gotten in ahead of him in the pecking order either. Speaking of Everton, they seem favorite to sign Mirallas.

Lampard contract
Depends on how he, Romeu and Oscar perform this season. I would probably still offer an extension though cause he's generally very important to us in the big matches.

Macheda (Most likely going to be sold) and Hernandez (Only being kept because he can get you goals when he decides he wants to play) are poor. Only good strikers they have are Rooney and Welbeck. Not sure why they bought that guy, Will Keane looks very promising and he's the same age. We could probably do with signing another striker though. In other news, Arsenal are interested in Mirallas. If they got him their attacking force would be insane.

Our Youth on Loan
Not sure if it's been mentioned but Sam Walker has joined Bristol Rovers on loan. Played well for them today considering the amount of shots he had to deal with, saved a penalty as well.

Top 7 Predictions for 12/13 Season
If Liverpool get Tello and Sahin, move them above Spurs. Still don't think, as a team, they will be better than Newcastle who just got Anita for next to nothing by the way. Great little player. Thing with Arsenal is that regardless of who plays upfront, they always create so many chances for their strikers. Probably more than most teams but I can't back that up with stats, only what I have seen. It's why they always finish in the top 4, if they could sort their defence out (which is what the new assistant manager/coach is going to be tasked with doing this season) and the whole injuries thing they could easily have won the league in previous seasons and probably even this season.

Ref "knocked out" during Benfica friendly.
I use the term knocked out very loosely. Think it's quite clear that the ref is faking that and if he was actually unconscious it was because he made a meal out of the slightest of bodychecks, flopped backwards like a starfish and landed on his head. Worse thing was he was up again in a few mins with no help at all, looking fine and dandy. Still decided to stop the match though. Dusseldorf are going to make an formal compliant to UEFA and Luisao could be charged for that. Well, he most likely will because they are obviously going to take the ref's word. Reason Luisao was protesting so much in the first place was probably to do with the mixture of events that happened just before that indicent. The ref smacks Maxi Pereira in the face (He didn't go down like a starfish, probably should have) and was about to send Javi Garcia off for basically nothing.

Azpilicueta signs
Not greatly detailed about his strength and weaknesses but it's accurate: I only saw a few bits of him myself but he looked very solid defensively.

Azpilicueta signs
You sure do like to nitpick at everything I say. As if it's feasible to rely on one player for a whole season.

Azpilicueta signs
L'equipe are saying he will be in London on Monday to finalise the deal. They are more reliable from my experience. Either way it looks done and I'm just glad we are finally getting a top quality right back.

Following our ex`s...
Sinclair has pretty much joined City now, still a few things to sort out but it's safe to say it's done. Was a nice goal, Johnson's was fantastic though.

Victor Moses joining Chelsea?
I actually can't be bothered anymore, tired of talking about Moses now. We both have different views on his ability but at least we both agree that he's the type of player that we need, should probably count our blessings and leave it at that. I will however reply to some of the things you mentioned considering you went through the effort of all that. The stat I looked at showed it was less games than that, obviously it was wrong. What you are failing to realise is that Moses is the main focal point of Wigan's team whereas Sinclair isn't for Swanseas. I would expect Moses to get more goals, just like I would expect Sinclair to get more goals if it was the other way around. You seem to be focusing too much on this intelligent thing, i'm talking about it in terms of basic things such as movement, picking the right passes, etc. I'm not sure what context you are taking it in but if you disagree with Sinclair being a better passer, picking the right passes/knowing when the pass then there's not much else I can say. Also I never once mentioned anything about Sinclair's pass percentage, you brought that up. Sinclair is an attacker, therefore only his attacking passes (you know what I mean) have any relevance when I'm discussing him. Couldn't care less if he passed back and forth between himself and Taylor for the whole 90 mins, that's not something I take into consideration. Those fans are talking about Sinclair in general, I'm talking about Sinclair in comparison with Moses. Surely you can see the difference? If there were talking about him in comparison to Moses they would be saying the same thing I'm saying right now. I'm in no way suggesting Sinclair is a top player, all I have stated is that he is better than Moses. Those points the fan raised about Sinclair are easily applicable to Moses, Moses misses easy chances and he's meant to be able to play as a striker, makes wrong choices, go missing, etc. I don't have to go and search a Wigan forum to gather all that, it's pretty obvious to see to anyone who has watched him. We are basically discussing two awful players and trying to find out which one is better when they are both as bad as each other. Comes down to what you prefer at the end of the day, either someone who is fast and can pass but can't dribble effectively or someone who is fast, can dribble and push players but can't do much else. Reason I didn't mention Sinclair's goals is because I didn't see all of them, not because I was twisting my points in any direction. I did however see all of Moses goals so of course I will bring it up.

Alvaro Pereira
http://www.ojogo.pt/...tent_id=2712319 Basically he got annoyed at Kleber for celebrating his team winning over Alvaro's team in a meaningless friendly match. Alvaro said to Kleber, "On the games I don't see you celebrating like this", Kleber replied "On the games you don't do the things you do in training" Then Alvaro started a bust up over nothing. Put simply, he's a nob and has some attitude problems. Been in a mood since he didn't get to leave the season before.

Michael Owen , Would You Take Him ?
Dear god no, the guy can barely move nowadays and when he does he gets injured!

Victor Moses joining Chelsea?
Giuseppe Rossi? Or am I forgetting someone?

Lucas Moura
Dunno, them wasting £30m+ on Lucas when they don't need him would mean no more cash for them to bring in centre mids. Would have preferred it that way to be honest.Unless of course they still don't bring in any CM's when the window shuts, in which case you're right.
-
Victor Moses joining Chelsea?
If that's your view on Sinclair then I'm keen to hear what you think about Moses in comparison.I cannot think of any valid reason why someone would think Moses is better than Sinclair. Age is the only thing I can come up with and even then there's not much between them.

Lucas Moura
Read somewhere that Lucas would be getting wages similar to those of the likes of Ibra, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true but surely PSG won't be stupid enough to pay that much wages to a 19 year old kid. Talking about something like 150k-250k. He can never be a good signing for that price, if he performs people would just be like "Oh okay, that's what he's suppose to do anyway" if he doesn't he'll get labelled a flop straight away.
