  1. Get the good managers while they were young, similar to players 😄 Just loan them out to one of the feeder club if it doesn't work out well.
  2. Does that mean buy older kids, 20 instead of 18?
  3. No bothered he's leaving to be honest, good player but for that much money who isn't. It was a moment of sugar high to break the bank to sign him. If we could a good deal ( say 70-80M), Blueco will do their usual FFP maths and call it a huge profit for us, then spend the money on 2 or 3 upcoming wonder kids few of us heard before. It's the good rinse and repeat.
  4. International break couldnt happen at a better time, an easy ( relatively) FA cup match, get a bit of confidence back we may win a few games. The issue with the squad is we have so many players , yet when you need a proven Central defence pair for a CL match, we have to play a 19 year old. Then you have a manager picking second choice GK for no apparent reasons.
  5. To be fair, Sanchez could make good saves if not asked to play football with his feet. As soon as he started to muck around playing football with feet, mistakes kick in, confidence down, and couldn't even making saves he'd normally make. This has a lot to do with the way manager wants to play, and knowing ( or not) players' limitations.
  6. Again, the same question is what next, if or when they let go of Rosenior? I mean, there wasn't even a proper plan when Maresca was about to go ( although he wasn't technically sacked). What's next, big Angie?
  7. The way Beto sprinted past him, and he just put hands down and gave up once Beto got in the box was quite astounding. You got at least making a bit of effort to let the attacker feel a bit of pressure, and this is s not the first time we have seen that lately. It's either the injury has done him, or he's just giving up tools.
  8. To be fair, at the start of the season, if someone said this is the Chelsea Manager, most would have asked Liam who. He has got some positive results since he too over, but the two CL ties just showed he's not at the level of managing a CL level club. Again, maybe we aren't a CL level club no more.
  9. What happened to the other 4-5 upcoming GKs we bought recently, surely deserve a game or two based on Jorgensen's performance.
  10. Barca pay 60M upfront for a winger? 🤐 I will see it when I believe it, they haven't even paid for Rashford yet.
  11. Considering the night before Spurs failed miserably with their second choice GK, it's just madness to pick our second choice for a CL knock out game. Maybe it's our intention CL as a lower priority, maybe Sanchez had a knock or injury. Aside from that, just a really poor call by the manager, against a good team who's not in great form until we handed them a lead.
  12. Surprised how raw he was technically, but maybe we just signed another player for the sake of youth and potential, unless we are going to play route one football. Again, it's the job of the sporting directors ( working with the manager) identifying what we need, not how to make some quick bucks ( hopefully)
  13. Didn't see the first yellow either, but surely Neto saw and knew it. In that situation, a scissor kick tackle it's just senseless and asking for it. He's not a 19 year old kid, should have known a lot better. Considering we actually pushed Arsenal towards the edge in the end, the red definitely cost us a point if not more.
  14. Come next Summer, they will do exactly as as every other transfer window up to date, sign a bunch of under 23 for 200M plus, get the usual expensive Brighton player, and throw them to the manager to work it out.
  15. I totally get the sentiment, but realistically a boycott does very little, they will just do whatever they want, and they won't sell the club until they triple their investment ( at minimum). Personally, I don't invest much of my time and emotion into the club, for my own good.
  16. If I read it correctly, it's far more than just the recent results ( not good but certainly not unacceptable since we are never going to win the league). The way the club's been recruiting, we aren't building a title winning ( or challenging) team, but a team able to generate profit through transfers. This is the game we are playing, we aren't going to get elite or even very good managers. They aren't in this game to help the club to make profit, they are in for winning football. Anyway, Enzo actually achieved what's been asked of him since his arrival, respect to him.
  17. Agree, it's a strange time of the year for football. I mean, is this officially post season, or the early pre-season tournament?
  18. As long as we aren't breaking the PSR and having decent cash in flows, these guys' jobs are as safe as a double brick house. It's just the way the BlueCo wants to operate, these guys are foot soldiers. I'm long over debating the right & wrong of this approach, it's just how they roll. Unless there's a ownership change in future, not much will change.
  19. I wonder how most Chelsea fans feel if the team finish 17th but win an Europa, certainly wouldnt do a parade 😄 It's been a crazy season, we got the 4th spot ( objective met), but maybe an opportunity lost. Considering City was in 'transition' and wont do it again anytime soon, and Arsenal fall off the cliff ( again) by April, we could have gone second if we had a proper front man ( again)
  20. Don't bring Jackson back in the starting 11, we should win this.
  21. No 100M bid for a Brighton player this window? I will be disappointed😁 I don't think transfer fee is the biggest issue, it's the whole PSR game where players are expected to take low pay on an extended long contracts. If you have options, why tie yourself down with that?
  22. Fark Carragher, that c*t still had grudges against Torres for leaving Liverpool on a record deal. Whether Torres was a success or NOT with us is another story, but he wanted to move up for a better team and got them a great fee. Yet C*ts like Carragher still sees him leaving as 'betrayal'. The thing never got into their thick mind is there are better clubs and choices out there, players will move on when they see one, whether leaving for free or otherwise.
  23. They may rotate a few players, but I doubt they want keep the losing streak ahead of the final. I don't think form and confidence is something you could turn on and off via a switch, so I still expect them to play a strong team. We are definitely the favourites ( first time in a while), just need to get it done on the night.
  24. Nobody could claim his action was just a moment of madness and isolated incident, just about every game he played he get a yellow for a stupid foul or a moment of petulance. The good thing is at least we will pick someone who's motivated ( NOT Nkunku) for the remaining league games. Bad part is we still got him on the book for the next 7, or 8 years?😁
  25. Forest are done for the CL chase, just throw away couple of 'easy' games and no way back. Our next 2 are very winnable, especially now Jackson is off. United is a 'funny" team, awful against teams playing on the counter, but if we play for possession let them play on the counter, they could hurt us.
