  1. I like your idea of the formation but I just don't see Grant going for it. Drogs can pretty much play anywhere on the pitch but I'm not sure Anelka can. He might be good as a shadow striker but should we experiment it in this game.. We would really need Essien at his best now but we are not going to see it sadly. His midfield presence and fast runs would do harm to spuds but now we have to play Maka in these two games, I don't see an option here. Ballack and Lampard are the key in these games for us. If they deliver, we will win.
  2. That's probably what every Ar*se player and fan are thinking these days...
  3. ..He's only 22. His price will be really high no doubt. If we lose Drogs he just might be good strike partner for Anelka... And wouldn't mind Chelsea having a really nice bloke like Flo or Zola. Wouldn't really do bad to our image, not that it really matters to me but in business point of view..Drogs probably isn't a player everyone likes.
  4. Spuds game is really important but what are they playing for? They are out of the relegation battle the way I see it and too far away from the good spots of the table(8p from w-ham, 8p from danger). They seem to be the team to have least to play for. Of course they want to win every game since they don't want to slip close to the r-zone but is it enough to fight hard? They have their honor but is it enough either... The other hand our confidence could rise to a new level if we beat spuds at whl. With high level of confidence is good to welcome ar*e at SB to kick their sorry ar*es back to emirates.
  5. ManU and Ar*e play eachother still. 0-0 would be great! And if Liverp**l can help us I just might hate them little bit less. I'm confident we will not lose home against the big ones so wednesday's Spuds game is really crucial.
  6. ..so linking him to Grant's post will follow soon I would think. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 89,00.html So Lippi as our manager and Zola to the assistant manager post... Wouldn't mind that. Though I'm still interested to see Chelsea with a younger coach. Same age as Mourinho .
  7. These two next games are most crucial to our campaign. If we beat both Spuds and Ar*e I think second spot is ours for good. If we go on and beat ManU we might just win it..
  8. Really clumsy looking player(tall guy) but seems to have an eye for goal. He seems to be fans favorite also. I have watched two stuttgart games this season from TV and in both occasions Gomez scored.
  9. I he want's to and has what it takes to be a manager I would welcome him with open arms.
  10. This whole thing will fall on Chelsea.. The final is in Russia and our owner is russian. We got the easiest draw. Abramovich paid UEFA and that russian bloke who made the actual draw to pick the right ball at the right time. May the consipiracies come..
  11. If we were still under JM we would run like bunnies on speed the first 10 mins and score 1 or two and slow our pace towards second half. Second half would be boring as h*ll. It would be enough to secure 3 points. NOW we are in "crisis" as the tabloids say and the team is a bit shaky so we use Derby as our rebound to get "back on track" and sheer quality difference and the will to show we are not in crisis make us win something like 4-0 or 6-1. It will be a "shut up press and leave us be" victory. I'm really waiting to see us kill Derby in this one! We really need a victory over a tough opponent before our next CL game. Would do good to our confidence, us fans and the players.

2 goals against Barcelona in the CL were brilliant. One over the stunned keeper and one nicked in from Zola's perfect pass after brilliant attacking. Always liked to see him play. He looked like he was on slow motion all the time but still went past players and scored stunners. He is like the opposite of Michael Owen and that's why I love him so much. Slow with the ball, without the ball, looks really clumsy and still managed to scare the opposite defences with his personal style of play. Owen is like from a training factory with perfect speed, running technique, physique and a poster boy with no character.
  13. This is just a rumour: Jose Mourinho to Inter, Mancini considers Chelsea post!
  14. good point.. I think 2 english sides will be drawn together for the quarters and I also think there will be 2 english teams among the last 4 teams. Strongest contenders for winning the whole sh*t IMO are: 1.ManU - strong team and as they won EPL last season their desire for CL crown is big 2.Barcelona - on a good spring form, have won it and might be the only thing to win this season 3.Scum - .... 4.Chelsea, Ar*e and Roma - strong teams with big desire for this cup but lack of depth or form or managerial genius will drop them out of top 3. The dream final for the europeans will be between Manu-Barca. The dream final for Chelsea would be any just as long as we beat the Scum on the way...
  15. That's exactly what I meant - thanks!! For me, Essien has gone backwards. Not just under Grant, even when Jose was still in charge. A lot of his better performances last season were when he was asked to play right back and he made those surging runs. This season his performances have been far from good. He's gone from being one of the first names on the team sheet to being a decent squad player & great athlete. That is really hard to accept but I think he has some sort of hangover from all that has happened. Victories, trophies, best player voted by us, sacking of jose, ACN etc.. Grant needs to have a word with him before he falsely realizes Chelsea is the reason for his problems and ask for move out.. I hope we can avoid that same thing with other players as well.
  16. My prediction(a positive one) results over two legs: Arsenal-ManU 2-1--------------------------------------------- ----------------------Chelsea-Barcelona 5-4------------------- Chelsea-Schalke 3-2-------------------------- Chelsea-Arsenal 2-1 ----------------------Arsenal-Roma 3-1----------------------- Liverpool-Barcelona 3-4---------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------- Roma-Fenerbache 6-1-----------------------------------------
  17. Apparently we are after Villareal full-back Caceres.. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 14,00.html Never heard of him..
  18. To some extent I understand the saying "but they are not Grant's players" or " That is Jose's player" but 9 out of 10 those players are international stars and top quality players why the h*ll does it have to be hand picked by the current coach. Shouldn't quality coach have to be able to handle different players and players bought by someone else. "We can't judge Grant yet since these are not his players he's only brought Anelka in." What the h*ll is that. Jose played the best football with Ranieri's men. Grant should be able to handle 28 international level players even they are not bought in by him if he indeed is qualified to be OUR manager. In the summer the outs are: Grant, Sidwell, Sheva? Ins: Guality manger and some quality players, if Drogs, Lamps etc decide to leave.
  19. Is Cech available for that game? Well after that humiliating loss I predict we will win 5-0, 6-0 just to give us fans something to cheer about in these dark days. I'll take it with open arms . --------Carlo/Cech--------- Belletti--Alex--Terry--A.Cole -----------Mikel------------ ---Ballack-------Lampard--- ------J.Cole---------------- -------Drogba-----Kalou---- Goals: Alex 5 or 6.
  20. We cannot afford to drop 1 point from now until the end of the season, so thats 11 wins from 11 matches, 6 homes & 5 aways. The tough games where it will be won or lost in red. Chelsea vs Derby Sunderland vs Chelsea Tottenham vs Chelsea Chelsea vs Arsenal Chelsea vs Middlesbrough Man City vs Chelsea Chelsea vs Wigan Everton vs Chelsea Chelsea vs Man Utd Newcastle vs Chelsea Chelsea vs Bolton I think we have more chance of winning the Champions league & the FA cup, but if we can win those 11 games then surely we will win the the EP as well ? If we beat both Ma*U and Ar*se at the bridge they can't afford losing too many points either...
