QPR and Burnley relegated. Good times.

Fitting really... City's first two goals I thought were quality though.

That's the problem with City; they're too inconsistent. They can play some cracking football against lesser sides but too often they look turgid, disjointed and disinterested.

See you in hell Burnley. Hope that clogs up Dyche's throat and withers his ginger hair. I'm sure Matic is advising Ashley Barnes to not let the door hit his derriere on the way out.

Sunderland are like the Wigan of yesteryear - always performing some magic act to stave off relegation. They've done it for two seasons in a row now - 2013/14 and 2014/15.

Arsenal have been playing well lately, but like I've said good runs of form from Arsenal are nothing shocking. That being said, Wenger's big-game tactics have improved lately, so they may actually be a threat next season providing injuries don't ravage them (always a big 'if' with Arsenal). Let's see what happens before getting worried.

Chelsea Team of the Decade
Left too early (the season before).
-
Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
- Gary Cahill - PL CL FAC LC EL champion
I think he was in general better last season, but he's been playing very well lately. I just hope he doesn't suffer another mid-season slump.- José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Jose has moulded a collection of talented individuals into a title-winning unit. The only thing left is to add a bit of polish by getting a proper backup for Fabregas...and possibly replacing Ramires (YMMV).- Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23
He was energetic and showed flashes going forward, but he's still as lightweight as hell. Needs work.- Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15
Wow, he makes Wenger seem...magnanimous.- Be honest...
Well, I'm always one to dream up worst case scenarios, but looking back Mou is the last manager you'd expect to screw up a title challenge. It's not like he's Brendan Rodgers...- Chelsea v Crystal Palace (PL) 03/05/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! LET'S ALL LAUGH AT CRYSTAL PALACE! LET'S ALL LAUGH AT THE OTHERS! LOSERS, LOSERS! KISS MY BIG CHELSEA BEHIND, MARTIN TYLER! CHAMPIONS! So much catharsis, so much happiness, after such a hard road...I've forgotten what it was like to win the PL. It's been too long.- Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15
Where to begin? 1) Starting the pre-season with 8 registered players and no goalkeepers. Imagine Chelsea doing that and you gain an understanding of just how ridiculous that sounds. 2) The Oystons pocketing parachute payments from Blackpool's 2010/11 PL relegation and not re-investing into the club. 3) Not being able to provide enough kits for their players to the point where their goalkeeper had to wear an autographed shirt during a game! 4) Owen Oyston being a convincted rapist (N.B: I know how 'flexible' UK libel laws are, so I'd like to point out that this is a fact, not just my opinion). 5) Suing a retired pensioner for 20 thousand pounds for 'libel'. 6) Taking action against fan forums who dare criticise them. 7) Karl Oyston's mockery of the fans with his license plate saying 'OYSTON OUT'. 8) Removing statutes of legends from Blackpool FC's ground. 9) Leaving training facilities in a state of utter disrepair. Basically, they're the sort of owners who make the likes of Venky's, Mike Ashley and Hicks & Gillett (sic?) look good.- Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15
My first guess are the Oystons - shyster owners if I've ever seen them. EDIT: Confirmed.- Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15
What a f**king shambles Newcastle are.- Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15
Newcastle are playing like they're already safe from relegation. At this point I have news for them...- Rio Ferdinand's wife passes away from cancer
Whatever our feelings towards Rio, this is very sad news. RIP.- Leicester City v Chelsea (PL) 29/04/2015 KO: 19:45 GMT
An excellent win against an opponent who has really been playing well in recent weeks. Even here they gave us a run for our money with their direct, high-tempo play. I'm not terribly surprised they tired at length, but if they continue playing like this, Leicester will stay up. IMO they're certainly not one of the three worst teams in the PL. From what I saw, Willian, Fabregas and JT were all impressive.- Cesar Azpilicueta - Unsung Hero
Should have been LB of the year over Bertrand. Excellent for the second successive season and possibly the only right-footer I've seen who's elevated his game at LB.- Random Rumours
Thank god Fernando Torres pretty much discredited the idea of Chelsea signing fading stars... - Gary Cahill - PL CL FAC LC EL champion
