Did you make up awful scenarios in your head that we may lose the league in awful fashion before certain games?

Mine was when Costa went off injured against Stoke, bizarrely. Thought the wheels were coming off of our title charge. After that, I just thought everything would come crashing down and Liverpool would get their revenge on us at the Bridge.

Or was you always optimistic?

I always been optimistic. We have the best squad in the EPL with the best manager in the world. I always believed in the squad and knew that we're going to win but I never underestimated  at those who played against us!

Start of the season and I'll be perfectly honest here my prediction was

1. Chelsea

2. City

3. Arsenal

4. Tottenham

But when we were level on points with City at new years day I was having some second thoughts, I even thought City would go all the way and compete with us but we ended up walking the title.

I'm a big ole' pessimist...so I think of all kind of terrible scenarios. I still had nagging doubts we'd win the league before we today hahaha

We're so far ahead, yet I spent most of the season totally stressed. Relief is almost as prevalent as happiness for me once it's all done.

But hey, that's football for me...and I love it

I'm genuinely surprised at the lack of fight from the other contenders. All of them at one stage or another have rolled over and had their tummies tickled.

I was always pessimistic, have been for years.

I knew we were going to win it when Cesc popped up against QPR in the dying minutes and slotted home the winner.

We were sh*t that day, and that convinced me it didn't matter how bad we played it was our destiny for this season.

If I hadn't been a Chelsea fan (God forbid)  I would have thought we  had it sewn up and assumed it was won long ago.  But being a Chelsea fans and a natural pessimist, I've been worried all along.  I mean, I tried to tell myself, 10 points clear with 4 matches to go and you're worrying?  REALLY?  But I couldn't help it, I was having nightmares about not getting any more points.

Even building up to this match i was thinking how things could go terribly wrong, i can't help it

I also always believed we could win the title though. November is always scary and maybe December too, and there was one moment in November where i thought we were going to lose control but we got through it fine.

Always optimistic, even when we were level with City. You just had to take a look at our fixtures and you would see that we had the easier set. Never could have predicted that City would slip up so badly though.

mine was when matic got sent off against burnley and ended up draw. I thought it would derailing our season and we would be thropyless again, resulting the sacking of jose.

I worry more about QPR away than any game against Utd, City or Arsenal. I did get the wobbles in Jan/Feb but once we got past QPR I had no doubt we'd go on to finish the job

Was cautiously optimistic at the start of the season... but started to doubt our title credentials after capitulating v Spurs (which I think coincided with City pulling level??)... started to believe again after QPR away/Man U at home.

So relieved.... we're champions!

CHAMPIONS!!

I did think we may have f**ked it when City caught us up and when we lost our 2 goal lead to Hull but then I always remembered that feeling I had that this was our season.

Beating QPR the way we did cemented it for me.

The QPR game was when I was stuck in the middle of Australia with no wifi signal.  I had to wait 4 DAYS to learn the result.  It felt longer.

I was guardedly confident, but the match against Burnley, where Matic almost got his leg broken and where Atkinson tried to screw us big time, made me worried that we might not win it. The United match changed my feelings completely.

Once it was obvious that City were struggling and United were tits, it was game over for me.  Arsenal really weren't going to create much of a challenge because Wenger doesn't know how to win ugly and I was confident that despite a managerial change the Spuds were going to fade with at least 8 games to go and fall by the wayside as is their MO.  As for the Scousers, I thought they might have been our toughest challenger, but once they lost Sturridge through injury and signed Mario with Lambert I was confident that we would end up as Champions given how last season went and what was missing in the games that we struggled against the lesser teams...onwards and upwards can't wait for August 2015 to come around.
