Jose Mourinho
We seem to be entering strangely familiar territory/threads of years gone by... And I don't think respect or disrespect for that matter, necessarily insulates or should insulate anyone from criticism Chippy. Otherwise you engender a form of oblique censorship. No manager is beyond criticism whether it be Carlo, Avram, Jose, Claudio or Gus. Blokes who are all paid a hell of a lot of money & where the emotional and financial stakes are huge.

Is The Jury Really Out On Carlo
On today's performance & should we beat the toffees in the replay on the weekend, I feel that 4th may be beyond us given the sheer amount of games in the three comps we have left to play. And of course given our form Copenhagen will be more difficult that initially thought when the draw came out. And so it's a real dilemma for the board as to what to do or not what to do at this point. It seems to me that the next three league games are critical in this respect. We must at least take six points from our games against Manure, Blackpool and City (game against the Brummies is postponed isn't it?) for us to have a realistic chance. Obviously the league fixtures for us in April (at present) barring Spuds at the end of that month, are somewhat easier however City & Spuds' league fixtures for that month not involving us are also somewhat benign - at least on paper/position etc. It may be somewhat impertinent but I feel that if we only secure say, another three or four points come the end of the month/end of City game & if Hiddink was available, I think the board may have to act at that time. PS Seconded Chippy - good post Forzby

Last Movie You Watched
Seeing Black Swan tonight. Natalie Portman, a very tidy unit.

Fee agreed for Fernando Torres
Colourist. And you're right & I share the odd feeling about the colour swap/blue/red enemy (well at least as far as Chels is concerned: take note Phillip)/natural prejudice thing as well. Where would prejudice be without colours? Derrida wrote something about that didn't he? Or, if not, perhaps Canetti. Anyway, apparently shirt sales are in the ascendancy according to the evidence of this thread so it's all coming along nicely & to plan. C'mon Sunday!

Fee agreed for Fernando Torres
Ordinarily, and for most of us I suspect, having a squiz at RAWK is an abject waste of time as much of what passes for comment there is mostly emotive & delusional (let alone literate or objective). Very occasionally, however, clarity does emerge from all the surrounding filth.

Aguero or Torres?
Well apart from it being water world, things are peachy. Can't wait for Sunday.

Aguero or Torres?

Chelsea TV
Cam there's always Foxtel or Austar, Setanta on both for the FA Cup and Chelsea TV. As far as the latter goes though it's only select bits from Chelsea TV and not on nearly enough and of course it no longer has Special1TV. But you've got to have it for Serie A & the Bundesliga & the Copa games in any event so Setanta is mandatory I would have thought.

Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) 6/2/2011 KO 16:00 GMT
As put rather well by Philip, the Ghana "incident" is part of football/sport so get used to it. As for the biting; he should be made to wear a Lecter mask for the rest of his career.

We need to loan out Kalou
Shame his epiphany didn't come about 4 years ago.

Other record signings have a poor track record
Ibra & Zidane "complete failures" in Spain ?!? Er, no. Try again.

Aguero or Torres?
Don't know about faster or stronger or being more fluid than Aguero & I wouldn't necessarliy call Torres a "big" striker. What is he, about 6 one. Certainly more elegant than Aguero but elegance hardly guarantees goals.
- Will he? Won't he?

Bolton v Chelsea (PL) 24/1/11 KO 20:00 GMT
Pretty good so far - can only hope we don't go to sleep now. Bit of luck for Malouda - we're overdue in that regard & looks like Drogs is fully back.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
Well no doubt he's been angling for it. The only problem for him if he does go back and which he must surely realise is that he'll have to come up with a whole new range of excuses to use when things don't go so well.

One step closer to Internet Governing
Censorship. Always starts so insidiously & usually through language prescription of some sort. Like how you can't write c**t anymore. Pretty soon you won't even be able to view it. Then you won't even be able to say it. Then...
