Apparently our blokes are at the flicks as we speak in order in some sort of team bonding exercise. The Wages of Fear? C'mon Spuds only 45 minutes for the draw.

Last Movie You Watched
I apologise in advance for the digression but re Edward Furlong: talk about the gloria swanson of his generation. I recall that when T2 came out everyone was just gobsmacked as to how good he was in that film & we'd all collectively agree (in a w**ky noddingly knowingly sort of way) that he was going to be one of the greats, couldn't wait for his next film etc etc. Yep.

Could the tinkerman beat the special one?
Thread perfectly encapsulates the long entrenched views on Mourinho of all the posters from the CSR days. Not much has changed has it. Just's post is superb, Loz is as usual so dryly objectively correct & the opposing? Well Liam me old mate sums up the anti-Jose squad with his usual aplomb (albeit I for one believe that deep down Liam really does want to have Jose's babies).

I disagree sleepy one. They were both clearly of the view that the aesthetic is pre-eminent and were otherwise both silent on the appalling refereeing decisions that determined the outcome of the 2nd leg or deflected the question back to alleged injustices done to them by the ref in the 1st leg.

Oh and by the way I thought Inter were fantastic today and all engineered by the aech enemy of football. Or maybe not, maybe it was all down to all of the Inter players having epiphanies and all at more or less the same time. Hope Inter (that's the players and the manager at one and the same time) crush Barca in front of all their fans and then that Real win the title. f**k Barca: some of us will never forget. And that's bullsh*t from Eidur: I recall that Messi and Puyol both di interviews days after the 2nd leg last year and both said that Barca deserved on its style of football to go through rather than us Oh and Chels till I die etc. etc.

Like an answer Jack. By the way I'm a bit curious about the rest of your post. You decide to edit Bluenut's post by subbing "Chels" with "the players" - the inference being that Ancelloti had nothing to do with the loss against spuds. Fair enough if that's your view. But then you go on to state that should Chels do the double then it will be all garlands to Ancelotti (spinning silverware out of an oily rag etc) without any mention of the players. Naturally you'll understand my confusion as to your true position especially in circumstances where I seem to recall that Ancelotti was at the spuds game and did make the odd sub etc. Accordingly I was of the belief that he was part of Chels along with the players of course (together with those ever demanding supporters etc). If so, why did you feel the need to edit Bluenut's post?

Who exactly is saying that we're still Jose's team?

Champagne ala Bluenut; absolute 24 carat comedic noir. Nothing quite like that exquisite sense of loss/pain causative of blame shifting that from time to time infects us all and which seems endemic to sport. Poor bloke. Grimsby till I die - love it!!

Kalou
Still kalouless after all these years, he's a godboy & he professes his love for Le Arse. Three strikes and all that sometime (at least a year) ago. The fact that he's shown a bit more energy in recent games (but again for no real output) relative to our penshioners on the park is irrelevant and (another) false dawn as far as this player is concerned.

Chelsea vs Blackburn (Prem) 21/03/10 16:00 KO GMT
It only makes sense if he's going to be replaced with someone who can do the business - and with a much changed squad. Is Abramovich brave enough? I hope so because I think Carlo is a bit lost & I don't think he has the capacity to inspire this team.

Chelsea vs Blackburn (Prem) 21/03/10 16:00 KO GMT
Like the axelotl I think Carlo may be on the endangered list. And Jack I don't understand - you think Carlo might just have the capacity to change and inspire?!? I wish it were so but I think even the panda probably had more capacity on both counts! It's all such depressingly familiar territory. I'm really starting to entertain weird notions that our owner may be seriously considering getting Jose back. And it's not such a perverse idea from Abramovich's perspective: let's imagine it happened - it either works or it doesn't & Roman wouldn't be blamed regardless of the outcome.
