Andy Carroll - Football has gone mad
Was just thinking that there used to be a repeatedly-banned cretin on here who used to go on about signing Carroll. Say, I wonder if he's here currently under a new guise?

The John Obi Mikel Goal Scoring Thread
ShiningLight is genuinely a horrendous poster. The only time he (she?) seems to post is when his alt account has been banned, and he only seems to look like he's put in a decent performance because his competition on the same forum are posting terribly. I for one can't wait until he/she leaves the forum. Hopefully he/she'll join splishsplosh in internet purgatory.

Leicester v Chelsea - Mon 14 Dec - 20:00
Maybe it's because you are gloating in defeat... which is more or less what you'd expect from a WUM / non-Chelsea fan.

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
Bolton legend Ivan Klasnic is also out of contract

John Stones
They need replacement centre backs either way, they've already lost Distin and Alcaraz in this transfer window; their only backup to Jagielka and Stones is Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning, who are 19 and 21 respectively. It's not as if the transfer market is swimming with decent options at centre back either (as Man Utd have found out). I'm wondering whether they'll sell us Stones, but keep him on loan for a season while they sort themselves out at the back.

Is it too early to be depressed that we won't sign a starter?
SkyBet are now offering 2/1 on us signing Cambiasso

John Stones
It's all a smokescreen to cover our quiet pursuit of Varane.

Real Madrid: Benitez->Ancelotti
Well Benitez has previous with Real, I suppose that might be a factor. Presumably they are gunning for another Champions League win, they won't stand much of a chance in La Liga with Benitez in charge. Then again Ancelotti is hardly a master of league football (despite the double with us); I guess the same logic applies.

Robert Green
Friedel? Vorm? Schwarzer? Hamer? Hennessey? Half the teams in the league have backups who are better than Green, Tottenham have f**king two! We have the added lure of actually being in contention for trophies.

Robert Green
He's been consistently pretty poor in the Premier League, goes through patches of good shot-stopping but that's about it. Our game against QPR was a pretty good illustration of how his all-round game is lacking. Plus we will be playing at European level too, where he has no experience at all. We will have an unreliable backup goalkeeper with a history of errors. Simply not good enough for a team that wants to be challenging on all fronts. If Courtois got a serious injury we would be f**ked. He has definitely not been tested at international level, he has a handful of caps and one World Cup appearance, and was so awful that he was immediately dropped. We won't get anyone as good as Cech, but I never actually said that did I?
-
Robert Green
He's not really proven at this level I think the key word there is 'hopefully', Green is not good enough for Chelsea

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
You've just described John Obi Mikel

Where chelsea need to upgrade this jan.
I think we have a red ball on the badge (as well as a flower or something), I assumed that was where it came from. Speaking for the men, most of us do have blue balls, Moi.

Imbula - In the for Makalele Role
I have to agree with ForeverCarefree, a Ramires-Maka midfield would be no more incisive or qualitatively better in possession than a Ramires-Mikel midfield.

West Ham v Chelsea (PL) 23/11/13 KO 17:30 GMT
Well we lost to the pikeys under Benitez (what an unfortunate sentence), so I would hope that we will be well up for this one. As if there wasn't reason enough to hate the pikeys...

Chelsea v WBA (PL) 09/11/13 KO 15:00 GMT
I have a lot of respect for West Brom, most of their players and the way they are run so I am actually quite sorry that it was against them that this farce had to take place - someone like Tottenham or Liverpool would have been far more deserving. I have to agree with Davey in that they have every right to be angry; they were denied a famous victory (I hate that phrase) away by a last-minute howler from the ref. If it had happened the other way around I would be livid. Most hilarious of all has been the indignation of the Man Utd fans though... talk about hypocrisy!

Credit where credit is due?
Shearer is clearly trying his best on MotD this season but he still manages to sound like a halfwit - he may as well have stuck to the Lawro/Hansen/Craig Burley approach of getting liquored up beforehand

Credit where credit is due?
The BBC can f**k off, their coverage of just about everything has been appalling recently. Presenting rumour and innuendo as news is disgraceful behaviour, and the quality of their punditry (Robbie Savage? Are you f**king serious?) is an embarrassment. If they wanted an over-opinionated halfwit to spew complete and total sh*t into a news article they may as well have hired me - and I have better hair
