Good point Jack. I forgot about Nat. Yep would have tried to convince him to stay. I feel Matic is a fairly limited footballer and Chalobah definitely has potential to be much better.

Not Chalobah? He's the big one for me, I feel he'd have got enough minutes this season to convince him to sign a new contract.

it could really turn sour for him if Atleti publicly distance themselves from him, imagine if they were to say "Actually we're taking a rain check on him", he'd be back at cobham faster than a fast thing from fastville..

He'd need to drop down a division or 2. Don't think he's ever going to be good enough really, unless he gets his head down and really works instead of thinking he's made it already.

Is that necessary? Jose is big part of our history, no matter you like it or not. There is no need to act like this after... one press conference. Not even a single match, half season or title/cup. A fu**ing press conference? Ridiculous. 

His idea of a sh*t sandwich probably looks f**king fantastic to any one of us mere mortals though. If he cares for the club then money shouldn't be an issue. He has got china or usa to fall back on in a year anyway, and I highly doubt he's being paid just enough to pay the bills lol.

Mikel has been a useful squad player, every team needs players like him. It saddens me when I see the abuse Mikel gets.

Then we get rid of the players. I'm all for giving them a fresh start but Conte needs the backing of the board to get rid of any bad apples, no matter how many shirts they sell. 

Personally id sack emanelo off and give hiddink the dof of football job if I had my way, as long as conte as manager didnt object have other ideas, is perfectly suited to the job for my money, comes from a country that has a strong pedigree in youth development, knows the club, has the owner on side and actually has a footballing background that would put him in contention for the job even if he wasnt friendly with the owner.
