Who else do you want gone?

With the Manager gone .. we will now, hopefully, have a new man in charge soon.

It is OBVIOUS that an overhaul is needed and we need fresh blood in the squad. Who do you want gone?

Here's my list in order of preference.

Out:

Drogba

Malouda

Belleti

Anelka

Mineiro

Deco

Bring in:

Two top strikers. We need a Torres or a RVN

Bring in an attacking midfielder, winger

Most importantly - bring in a player who is suited and natural to the Makalele role.

Drogba

Malouda

Deco

Ballack

Bosingwa

Mineiro

That'll do.

All those for me.

Kalou as well. Nothing wrong with his attitude, he just isnt good enough.

Harsh, but thats how it is.

Halleluja, have you guys misread my post, or are Chelsea fans finally starting to see that Bosingwa really isn't all that? :getmycoat:

I agree with you about Kalou, but as a backup he's fine and can play on the left, right or up front. I'm more than happy to see him on the bench for us.

Yes, but he's a good enough replacement for Malouda while we have him. Sell Malouda, buy 2 wingers, THEN we can consider selling Kalou. I personally really rate Kalou though, so I want him to stay!

Well, Chelsea is nver going to be the same again. This summer is going to change everything. A massive overhaul will happen. A decent manager with enough awareness to play two strikers up front will be coaching Chelsea.

Honestly speaking, I don't know what lies in the future for Chelsea.

I agree with getting rid of most of the players mentioned here, but I'd start with Wilkins & Kenyon.

absolutely, well said, as well as the players Blize mentioned sans Bossie

The one bright glimmer in all of this is that the replacement, barring an absolute company line crony, will probably start by plugging Kakuta, Stoch, Di Santo into the lineup for significant minutes. Small consolation at a time like this

What as a front two? surely Wilkins pace has gone although Kenyon obviously still has the old UTD magic B)

This needed to happen, with or without Scolari. The Grant Interregium and Moscow was teh worst possible thing that couldve happened to us: it convinced us that the team was good enough to go all the way, and needed no changes. Really, it was the last charge of the old guard at Waterloo, old soldiers giving it one last hurrah when they were capable of it.

I take hope because Man Utd looked absolutely rotten to the core a few years back. Selling van Nistelrooy, lost Roy Keane, midfield of Kleberson and Alan Smith, and yet in a span of 2-3 years, they completely revamped themselves and created a new, young, fearsome side. We have the building blocks to do the same already here. We just need a man up to the task and the willingness to go back to the drawing board

I would keep belletti and Deco. Get rid of them in time i just wouldnt yet. I would like to see ballack gone first - whenever we play him we look real slow.

Drogba and anelka have to go. Drogba has been a pain and Anelka is sulky.

Mineiro never know why we bought him and malouda just has cut it!

I would like to sign Quaresma to permanent. havent seen much of him and will be interesting what he does but if he does go, we need a creative winger. We need a winger with a bit of pace, a bit of trickery and cause fouls so we can get some freekicks.

I would like to see Sinclair and mancienne work there way through to Chelsea first team but maybe put them on loan for a couple of years to get experience.

I want a big striker. No idea who and cant see the likes of Torres coming. I quite like van persie though he is injury prone. Not sure, but need a big striker.

I never liked kalou. But he is one of those players who is a good sub man. I actually find him annoying but he always seems to pop up when coming on as a sub and do something!

Where do we find this man?

With the rate at which this club sacks its managers, none of the potential candidates would be too keen. Atleast I don't think so.

absolutely right. Number one, imo, is shedding some of these "world class" salaries and talents. This would make it so that we are not entirely dependant on Europe every year, and will not have to sack a manager if he falls as far as fourth. If we are going to rebuild, we need to go back to the Ranieri model of getting players who are on the verge of their primes and blooding them into the team. Man U did this with Carrick, Hargreaves, Anderson and Vidic. They stuck them alongside established players and threw them into the fire for a couple of seasons. Now they have an extremely solid and mostly young squad, with aging vets mentoring young kids.

We need to stop with the massive wage bill because its clearly not worth it, and get some hunger and desire back into the first team. As well as on the touchline. Passion will create support, support will create team spirit, adn team spirit will help create wins.

Drogba - only here because we couldnt get rid of him

Ballack - play 5 good games a year at 140k a week

Malouda - just awful

Paulo - is he still alive?

Maniera - who is he?

We will throw Alex, Anelka, Kalou or even Carvalho in if the problem is right.

I dont think anyone will pay for Deco, Belleti, Hilario, keep them as spare parts until contract run out maybe useful.

We buy a big namestriker, a winger, then promote a young striker, couple of midfielders and defenders from reserve.

I agree with all the sentiments here, but im beginning to think this thread is another pipe dream. Drogba will be gone in the summer, but I think outside of Miniero pretty much everyone will still be here, quality or not. The problems are the same. There is no money, and whoever moves in wont be given anything to work with.

It makes me feel half a person just to think of what is going to happen. Wouldnt be shocked to see Frank, JT, Essien etc angling for that move abroad with nothing but uncertainty staring them in the face. And there is no money to replace the likes of them. They may love Chelsea, but being at the behest of a millionaire and his halfwit taskmaster for the rest of your career is hardly a convincing regime. Back to the old mix of fuddy duddies and kids maybe?

Roman couldve had a footballing empire, but he threw it away.

Maybe RA if his heart aintinit

Does a man who has just sacked his club's manager at considerable expense sound like a man whose heart is no longer in it?

Prior to Scolari's sacking I suspected Roman was on the verge of selling us however this has made me change my mind altogether. If he was selling us he wouldn't care about the fact the manager was under performing and he certainly wouldn't bank roll his dismissal.
