Well said, mate.

Let's be more positive and hope for a turnaround for the better.

Positive? Strange how someone posting a positive thread on here barely gets any replies, yet anything negative hits multiple pages. I honestly think some people prefer when we lose as they can bitch and moan and whinge. Good post pal, keep your head up and we will come good and ram it down the throats of the idiots writing us off.

Not just a positive thread but a new poster with a positive outlook...welcome mate I really hope you stick around and keep that optimism going ::clap2::

Nice post.

Don't express any anger or criticise the team mate too much mate or you'll become this psuedofan who isn't a true follower, apparently.

Nothing wrong with criticism. The problem comes with people who choose to criticise based on a belief in every other piece of blatant bullsh*t spouted by the press.

Posted

Which is almost as bad as denying everything remotely negative that's written and getting on like the club can do no wrong

I don't think I know anyone who takes that kind of attitude. I know plenty of people, Chelsea fans and non-Chelsea fans alike, who lap up the crap in the media though.

Best to take the vast majority of what you read in the press with a pinch of salt.

Or when it comes to the kind of crap regularly spouted by the likes of Matt Barlow, to treat such drivel with the contempt it fully deserves.

Blues captain John Terry insists his injury days are behind him after his return to action in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Everton.

Last month Terry admitted he could be set for "months" on the sidelines as he struggled with a trapped nerve in his right knee.

However, the England international returned to action as Chelsea were held by Everton and Terry insists he is now back to full fitness.

"It's great to be back playing," Terry told the Daily Mirror. "I was delighted to come through the game on Saturday. I feel really good after a couple of weeks out. The injury is fine; I felt nothing after the game which is great news.

"It's an important time at Chelsea now and we need our big players fit and performing. Hopefully Frank Lampard will be back soon as well and we can start to push on."

Chelsea are going through a mini-slump at present, having not won any of their last four Premier League games.

Petr Cech was saying something very similar last night.

We have periods of play where we are not there…and it has been like that more or less all season."

"Even when we won 6-0 at Wigan, the first half was poor. It`s difficult to say why it happened with Everton."

"In the first half, we matched them in terms of effort, running and fighting spirit."

"We did really well, passed the ball well and created some chances, although we did not have that many shots at goal."

"The second half we started in control with everything going well but suddenly they had a few counter-attacks, a few long balls and crosses and everything changed. Out of nothing, we stopped playing. When you are going through a difficult period you have it on your mind that you have to defend better, but sometimes it`s not the way it should be."

"All the statistics say Everton are dangerous with headers and scoring from crosses, so you can expect that."

"The problem was that we didn`t do enough to stop the crosses."

"It seemed that every time we got the ball in the second half we made the wrong choice."

And talking about the situation in general, whereby 'Lady Luck` seems to have deserted us big time, his remark is spot on,

"We are in a period where everything is going against us and the small, little things make a difference."

Doesn't sound positive? The inference is clear enough.. we've been going through a period where nothing's gone our way. All it could take to turn the corner, is one little slice of luck.. it'll come. At the moment it's a matter of when.

Nice to read a thread from somebody showing a bit of positivity. Things will all come good on Sunday, eventually.

Right then, we'll be 2-0 down at the break on Sunday and this forum will go into overload, there will be atleast 30 pages on the match chat thread, but then out of the shadows will step Ramires, a 40 yard run which ends with a sublime finish to put us back in it. 89 minutes gone and following incessant pressure from the blues, Mikel unleashes a right foot drive which smashes off the underside of the crossbar, bouncing down over the line by a matter of inches, or has it? Spuds players run to the linesman to remonstrate with him. The ref walks over, after a brief chat the goal is given, yes it's 2-2! Can we find a winner? 94 minutes are on the clock and it looks as if the game is heading for a draw. Last chance as Malouda trots over to take a corner, it's an inswinger, players from both sides are jostling in the box, who's that arriving to meet it? It's Paulo Ferriera! A header of the highest quality, It's 3-2. The ref blows his whistle immediately. What a comeback by the mighty blues. Andy Gray falls out of his seat and lands on a group of spud fans in an attempt to steal the headlines, but it's no good, We're back on top of the league and all is good again. The Daily Mail shuts down after realising they'll have nothing to print, John Terry goes on to feature in the Queens honours list and the nations media finally find out that Stevie Me has many skeletons in the closet, and subject him to months of abuse.

God I used to love Roy of the Rovers :D

What odds will the bookies give me on this happening? Or will they send me home to find my medication? :shok:

John Obi Mikel is preparing for his thirty-yard screamer as we speak.

It's happening against Spuds if I remember correctly, set up by Paulo who will then score a hat-trick and subsequently be forever installed as BlueBeard's favourite player ever.

Optimism you say..
