Desailly scored only seven goals for us but did include one of the two goals against Liverpool in 2003. The win meant that we qualified for the CL in 2003-2004. 

 

We only needed a point that day , so that was the goal (not Gronkjaer's) that earned us CL football, and helped persuade RA to buy the club.

He was as solid as a rock. Tough tackling, rarely gave the ball away, no frills type player.

All ways gave his all- The Supporters Club Players of the Year ( especially when we were sh*t), tended to be won by hard working triers like Johnny B.

Think one is Colin Pates, the photo bugs me though nearly all could have played together though I'm not sure this picture was taken in their playing days more perhaps a reunion.

I think that might be Keith Dublin next to Pates at the back.
