I’ve seen other footage of this game before, where you can hear to travelling Chelsea support singing “ Strolling.”

I think that was our signature chant for a bit, but kind of got given up on come the 70s.

Two Leeds goals disallowed in that 1967 Semi Final !

League game v Man United in 1990-1991. We won by 3-2.

George Best & Man Utd at Chelsea 1971, Best sent off & we lost 3.2

 Though i remember this goal by Best against us very well. As an opposition fan I begrudgingly have to admit he was quite good.

Still remember that evening, as it was my first home game. The Ref was Norman Burkenshaw, quite experienced & IIRC didn't take any nonsense from any players.

Remember seeing George Best playing for Hibs. in the Scottish Premier league a couple of times back in 1979/80.

He put a good few thousand on the crowds each time when playing for Hibs

Yeah, Ron had this air of authority about him, from the time he made the first team, so it wasn't long before he was made captain after Venables left.  Such a good defender who could read a game, and anticipate what was going to happen, better than anybody..
