Became a regular Chelsea meeting point till the mid 90s- arranged to meet mates there circa 94 - arrived to find the place looking like Beruit- went off big time apparantly, and that was the end of it as a matchday rendezvous.

I got the classic 1983/84 in medium originally. When I got a retro version for a present Christmas 2017, the size was XL !
March 2, 20197 yr 3-3 draw v Wolves from Dec 1976. Look at the state of the pitch ! Commentary by the late, great, Brian Moore.

The change of shirt size Ersk could be down to middle age spread mate, but let's be kind and say you work tirelessly in the weight room at your local gym!

The day of the big crush was 87 when they segregated the end of the Park Lane / Shelf. It was bad news I had to climb over the fence myself. I remember there was a big crush getting in for the Fulham 5-3 game that's posted above. Same as Arsenal in 87 where they packed us into the end bit of the clock end.

Was the 87 game at White Hart lane in the August when Nico Clausen scored their winner near end, if it was then the crush that day was unbelievable!! Lost my mate who had driven me up, luckily found him after game, never heard anyone mention the crush before but when ever Hillsborough is mentioned I think of spurs away 87, on another note our support was superb that day, one of the best away supports I've seen
March 2, 20197 yr Yes it was I lost my mates as well and there were five of us. There was a big article in the Chelsea Independent about it apparently and I never saw this after the game there were single shoes and trainers scattered all over the Park Lane where they had come off during the crush. If we hadn't climbed the fence I don't know about deaths but there would have been several serious injuries. Worst crush I've ever been in anywhere football or gigs.

Although I have problems with wi-fi devices with health problems that is the good thing about the new tech that when you get separated you can now hook up again reasonable easily. I had a similar problem after Spurs away in 91 and got split up with my brother.

Cheers, but it is down to 'middle age spread' . That's quite a polite way of saying 'fat git !' I suppose
