Although in B/W  our Youth from our Red / Green and White period.

I am still waiting for my scaff back, you know who you are Loved this scarf. I had one but lost it years ago. Wish I could get one now complete with a Super Chelsea Are Magic sow on badge

78, thats the one. I dont think you are the mystery borrower though?

I used to like the red, white & green scarf, pretty unique.  Eddie MaCreadie's Red white and green army was sprayed on a wall outside the CBL at Millwall, beautifully neat writing in silver, the same person who did it (but blue & white army) down the alley from New King's Road to Putney Bridge Station, it was there for donkeys years before it faded away.

Off topic, but on a railway bridge down the road from me (in a Shropshire village) is the phrase "Jim Hendrix lives" which has been there since I moved here 22 years ago - in fact, my friend who is in her 40s said that it was there when she was a kid and she remembers thinking "I don't know who Jimi is but he's gonna be in so much trouble"!  So I think it is about 30 years old but sadly has now finally almost faded!

I always hated the red/white/green kit, couldn't stand seeing Chelsea playing in red. For me, our best away kit ever was the old yellow/blue/yellow from the late 60's/early 70's, closely followed by the Embassy Regal kit, which sadly only lasted one season.

First time I saw Chelsea in the red kit was at Coventry in 72 or 73 - we won 3-1, but it really felt weird watching the boys playing in red. Still, we took the Coventry end as usual, which took some of the pain away

The only Chelsea shirt I have is a retro yellow one.

Spot on aligee couldn't of put it better myself. I was more 1980's but still the same feelings, loads away, 8000 at home. Muppets always say to me wait till roman f**ks off I just laugh and say couldn't give a sh*t I'll always be a Chelsea fan regardless and if we have less plastics turning up, so the better, carefree!

i always laugh when oppos sing where were you when u were sh*t,well i was there and i was proud and i always will be,the shed has gone, the dear old benches have gone, but i still have so many wonderful memories, and i'll take them to my grave, priceless

I liked the scaff but not the kit,

Strange we had green seats in the new East stand before it had a facelift, wonder why we had green.

+ 78 has been ruled out of scaff borrowing.

I'm only 21 and have a 1991/92 Chelsea shirt that I hold very dearly- Very vintage for me as it is from the year of my birth. Picked it up for £1 in an African market. I also got a few other treats of other teams. Clothes we put in charity bags end up getting sold over there and as a result you find very many vintage shirts from across Europe. I'm going again in a few days so hope to find some more tasty shirts. My mate found a 1987 shirt for his team, Birmingham city.

Wish me luck on my pursuit of a original le coq sportif 1984 shirt. dstoner I'll let you know if I find an original one and try and hook you up with it.

Blimey thank you and good luck. It will probably be a little tighter around the middle these days, lol!

Another regularly updated site, love the digs at QPR!  Not you is it CB?

Great pics, brings back some good memories especially QPR 1987, its always fun to have a little stretch!
