Our first home League game in 1956/57 was on Saturday, 25th August 1956. We beat Preston North End 1-0 in front of 21,832. Our scorer was Ron Tindall in the 7th minute. (As usual, bounder friardale site provided this info.) The above photo might well have been taken before that game.

I think they were covered on a sort of ad hoc basis every other year or so. The national ones were on Sportsnight the last one I remember David Speedie played in goal for Coventry.

March 25, 20197 yr Went about 3 times with secondary school. Allways associate in with Daily Express. We won it at least one of those times. There was a rumour that QPR triumphed in it one year, and included it the the honours won in their programmes.
