I just bought Pokemon Red for my 3DS, for £8.99 on the Virtual store. I own Blue, Yellow, Gold, Emerald and X. Blue and Gold are probably my favourites.

 

I'm dying for Pokemon Go to come out! And the new Pokemon games, Sun and Moon.

Hello, fellow Trainer. I'm in the minority, but Emerald is my favourite :)

 

Damn, I can't wait for Sun/Moon to be out. Have a good feeling that we'll be blown away by it, Japanese don't usually screw up their anniversary products (it's been 20 years since the first Pokemon game was released... Can you believe it?).

 

I'm not really keen on the idea of Pokemon GO though. It sounds interesting but I think I'll get bored of it quickly.

I had blue. Tried Gold and Silver, didn't like them.

Hitman looks like quite a decent game. If the reviews are good, I might get it.

Finished the Far Cry story quests last night.

Proper sh*t.

Just abruptly ends, the story is non existent.

Further thoughts on the game. The removal of the wing suit and the vehicles made the game feel quite slow and I've ended up using fast travel locations a lot because transitioning across the map just isn't as fun now.

I'm going to try and get the platinum trophy over the weekend, basically just need to get some collectables for it then I'll be picking up The Division next week.

Ahhhh don't say this. I am literally trading in Fallout 4 for Primal after work today. 

I think the reviews have been very generous with the game personally.

Massive step backwards from Far Cry 3 and 4 in my opinion, too many little things niggle at me and I feel like there is a lot of stuff missing for it to be up to Far Cry standards.

As I said before, it's not a bad game. But it's not anywhere near level of the games we've previously had.

I just want Far Cry 3 to become backwards compatible. Got rid of my 360 and all my games but would definitely re-buy FC3.

Admittedly I never played Black 2. 

 

I agree about the whole "everyone has a pokemon game" and expects you to trade with people to get the whole lot, when it's actually quite the opposite. 

 

X and Y were NOT sh*te.

Fight Night Champion is still a brilliant game even today. Wish they would bring it back but with fighters like Naz.

Same. As soon as it goes to ground or gets into a clinch, I just waggled the sticks around and hoped for the best.

The knockouts on ufc were great and they look outstanding on the new one.

Seems a tad dodgy to me, if the content isn't ready then push the release date back a bit...

The game looks great bit I don't like the format.

They've made their game in a way that forces you keep a physical copy of the game because if you want to play the whole thing you've got to play the game over a period of months until all of the content is there.

It's not how I play games, I like to get one and binge on it and then move on to the next one.

Really not liking the increasing trend of holding back content, especially games that have large DLC season pass content planned before the game even comes out.

But in the past we've had vapourware like the supposed SiN episodes and Half-Life episodes, so I am wary.

Seems like they aren't try to gouge the player if that's the price.

Agreed on each point, I wish they'd just released the whole thing at once. Otherwise it looks good, with more open levels like the previous Hitman games but this is seriously making me think twice.

Got the Far Cry Primal platinum trophy.

The game is surprisingly short for an open world game.

I essentially did everything there is to do in 22 hours, a lot of open world games have closer to 40 hours in my experience.

Anyway, trading it in tomorrow ready for The Division.

Anyone played Uncharted beta this weekend? Seems ok but nothing special.

That's the problem with beta's, they can ruin your expectations.
