Looking forward to pes this year, option file sharing should hopefully make it easy to license the whole game pretty quickly. That fifa video reminds me of road to world cup fifa 98, i found it hidden away in my mums wardrobe as it was supposed to be a xmas present, but i took the disc out and played it solid for a few weeks, and by the time xmas came, i didnt even want to play it!
August 19, 20169 yr I would have been interested in No Man's Sky, shame it's only on PS4. I'm a bit bored of gaming at the moment, haven't played anything in weeks. Just waiting for the two or three month period with Battlefield 1, MW remastered, Skyrim remastered, Forza Horizon 3 and then Ghost Recon Wildlands.
August 19, 20169 yr I downloaded WWE 2k16 as it's free on games with gold. Easily one of the worst games I've ever played and almost impressive how clunky it is for a current gen game.
August 20, 20169 yr Here's a non-recommendation: Firewatch. Really poor game that has good reviews for some reason.
August 20, 20169 yr At a stag do with my mate who works for Rockstar. Here's some inside info: You get to play as dual protagonists. This info the gaming media already has hold off, but it's an unconfirmed rumour, but I can confirm it. You get to play as a man called Arthur, who teaches a very young John Marsden the ways of the west. So it's a prequel. My mate says they are currently working on the trailer, which will be released soon. He says it looks fantastic, and they hope to release the game next year. So there you go, it's coming.
August 20, 20169 yr Playing he FIFA Beta, I have to admit. I'm genuinely not impressed by it, I got the UT one but it's literally just the same gameplay wise and the shot power is so sensitive now. You sky everything. The new set piece stuff is awful as well, the control of the run up to them is crap, I'd rather you just chose where to stand, but you actually direct the run and the way he does it, but at the same time you're aiming the penalty or whatever, not a fan of it personally. I was gonna get the super deluxe but I think I'll just the the cheaper one to be fair.
August 24, 20169 yr PES Demo is up today (Already up since yesterday morning if you have a US/AUS account). Played around 10 games last night and I'm really impressed with the game. Although I said the same last year and ended up hating the game.... Make sure you turn the difficulty up to Professional and above as regular is far too easy. The AI on the upper levels is ridiculously hard to break down which I love. Edited August 24, 20169 yr by Chelsbear
August 24, 20169 yr Picked up Deus Ex last night. Only played an hour but so far so good. Ramped up the difficulty and trying to play the first mission non lethal is making for slow progress though!

Saw good reviews of this and will probably get it once No Man's Sky loses my interest. I've never played a Deus Ex game before, but it looks like a cool mix of Splinter Cell and MGS. I heard that Jensen is a bit overpowered, but I suppose ramping up the difficulty like you're doing is the answer!

I heard that Jensen is a bit overpowered, but I suppose ramping up the difficulty like you're doing is the answer! I very quickly lost interest with No Man's Sky. The idea is decent but in terms of actual gameplay it ended up being a huge disappointment in total I warped 4 times and explored 10/15 planets and that was me done with the game. The game lacks any real hook to make you want to continue doing the same thing over and over, shame really.

Bought a new ship with more inventory slots but the only thing that's keeping me going is discovering new planets. They need to add the new content such as base building ASAP.
August 24, 20169 yr It was always going to be the case with No Mans Sky. A great concept but it was always going to get ridiculously repetitive very, very fast.

Loving Deus Ex so far too....but as ever I got bored of non lethal and just shot sh*t up ha ha..... Hint on how to do the first mission non lethal and save singh......tranq gun........ahem.....
August 24, 20169 yr It was always going to be the case with No Mans Sky. A great concept but it was always going to get ridiculously repetitive very, very fast. Plus the fact the maker bullsh*tted about many many things that has ended up pissing a lot of gamers off.
August 24, 20169 yr The original Deus Ex is the best game ever made. I'd consider buying a second hand PS4 just to play the new one if it was anywhere near as good as the original. The reviews I'm seeing are quite off-putting though. Role-playing games normally require the player to specialise to some degree (e.g. stealth vs fighter), which decides your whole approach to the game, but in this it sounds like you can basically do anything you want. Being able to purchase extra ammunition/supplies etc from the online store is also very wrong.
August 24, 20169 yr Not quite, yuo basically can play the game as Lethal or Non Lethal. You can then pick your augmentations and weapon ammo/upgrades to suit. Its not a tru RPG, its an action game with RPG Elements.

Played it a fair bit today, it is a really good game, the game breakers for me last year, were the lack of fouls, and the poor goalkeepers, both of which are much improved this year. Hopefully with the new option files, it can be fully licensed to a good standard. Looking forward to it more than fifa this year, although i will still probably get both.
August 24, 20169 yr You'd think that after 20 attempts each FIFA and PES would have nailed the gameplay by now.

The first game was so groundbreaking I don't think any sequel is ever going to compare favourably.

I`m half stealthing and half killing everything at the moment, enjoying both sides. FC, did you watch the video recap before playing? I watched it and cant remember half of it ha ha.
