September 14, 20169 yr Not a fan of the Fifa Demo it's all far too fast and set pieces are way too awkward.. Still will get both Fifa and Pes though.. Pes seems the superior football game again this year.
September 15, 20169 yr I don't get why anyone would moan about changes to the gameplay in FIFA when you'd also moan if no changes were made. The changes of set pieces will just take time to adapt to. I remember when they changed from the power bar on penalties and everyone hated it, now i couldn't imagine going back to the old way.

It looks easier to edit this year though, it does all kits and team names automatically, the only bit you have to do manually is league names and emblems. Looking forward to pes this year, it got a bit too easy last year, but from what ive seen so far, it looks awesome.

September 15, 20169 yr Editing is an absolute doddle this year. One click and it does it all for you. Does everything automatically - kits, badges etc Got mine today and first impressions - wow. It plays so smooth and fluid. It feels like a real game of football. Even the animations have improved massively. Really enjoyable games of football.

September 20, 20169 yr Forza Horizon 3, out next week, has had its reviews published. Looks like it's going to be epic. http://mygaming.co.za/news/pc/104689-forza-horizon-3-review-roundup.html. IGN - 9.5/10. Gamespot - 9/10. Destructoid - 9/10. TrustedReviews - 5/5. Polygon - 8.5/10. Forza Horizon is the best racing game franchise by far in my opinion. The next few months are going to be very expensive for me. Edited September 20, 20169 yr by RichardCFC
September 20, 20169 yr The demo is unreal, graphics are out of this world and the driving is just so much bloody fun. Plus we get to bang around in a warthog. Ive preordered it and cant bloody wait
September 21, 20169 yr FH3 looks stunning but it just had to be a Microsoft exclusive... Thankfully I can still play it on PC. By the way, is anyone planning to get a PS4 Pro?

Not really, I don't have a 4kTV and not planning to for a few years yet so it would be pretty pointless. If looks are important to you in gaming you really should invest in a gaming PC as they blow all of these consoles out of the water in terms of looks, performance and pretty much everything else.

Yeah, pretty much agree with this. I usually play my games on PC so I'd rather upgrade my graphics card and parts in the near future. Currently considering to get a PS4 Pro as a gift for my brother (at his new place) though. Edited September 21, 20169 yr by Zinc
September 21, 20169 yr I always thought of consoles as for the casual gamer with the hard-core element being purely PC based due to the customisation and performance PC gaming brings. It would be nice to have a Pro of course for improved visuals etc but for £350 plus the amount of money for a decent spec 4ktv (if you don't own one already) you probably would be able to buy a far more powerful gaming PC. I wish I could justify it but I really cant given I'm not gaming every other day.

It the demo is anything to go by this game is going to be absolutely incredible. I loved FH2. It's a shame I'm skint! What made me laugh is the part where you get to input a reg number onto your car. I decided to add the reg number from my own car and it was blocked due to profanity! The last three digits of my car reg is 'FKU'...
September 23, 20169 yr Gotta say, im absolutely loving pes. Some of the goals ive scored have been incredidle. It seems like you have complete control of what you want to do with ball. Starting to boss it on top player, gonna give superstar a go tonight.

Do you still have teams called west London blue and middlebrok, etc etc, by the commentators? How does it compare to FiFa? Is the commentary any good? Does it feel too Arcady (players sliding along the pitch...)? Thanks.

Is the commentary any good? Does it feel too Arcady (players sliding along the pitch...)? Thanks. I have all proper kit, names and emblems etc. It probably takes around half an hour to sort kits and everything out, if you are on ps4. The commentators say 'chelsea' not west london blue, although they can only say actual towns or citys, so both manchester teams are pronounced 'manchester' i think. Havent played the fifa demo, but compared to fifa 16, it is night and day. There is a random and unscripted element in pes that makes games feel more like the real thing, which is due to the new animations, the physics engine, and the ai, which is much better thapn last year. In terms of game speed, id say it is more considered. You have to keep possession before playing into your striker, sometimes you have to play it back and switch flanks. Fabregas has as big of impact with his playmaking, as what hazard has with his dribbling. My only worry is whether like last season it will stop being a challenge, but master league has had a few improvements this year, so i will prob gove the original line up a go, once im happy with my option file ( waiting on classic club team option file). Fifa is still miles ahead in terms of commentary, and match atmosphere. I dont play online anymore so i cant comment on that aspect.
September 24, 20169 yr So forza horizon 3 is absolutely astonishingly good, just everything about it is mind blowing. https://giant.gfycat.com/UniformUnsteadyGull.webm

Online is still a mess on PES but I don't buy it for online or that knock off UT mode of theirs. FIFA arrived today so I will give that some time over the weekend to see if it's an improvement on 16. It won't match PES though as every single review so far has already touched on.
