The nostalgia was crazy, managed to complete it on Legendary just yesterday. My god was it hard, they used to make games so much harder then than they do now, some levels were almost nigh on impossible to complete I had to watch some Youtube videos on how to get past certain bits. My best memories of Halo 1 was me and my brothers playing split screen and smashing the Warthog's into each other to see how far we could fly and how many flips we could do 😆

Flying the banshees was also really fun, the game really brought back so many memories from my childhood and trust me it's aged really well, I fully recommend it if you have time to kill.
March 17, 20206 yr I feel like us gamers have been training for this self isolation malarkey for years!
April 9, 20206 yr What’s everyone playing at the minute? I bought Zombie Army 4 as a quick blast but not really enjoying it. Not much depth to it. Uncharted 4 is free on PS Plus this month. I never actually played this as I couldn’t get into the Uncharted games but I’ll give it another go.
April 9, 20206 yr AC Odyssey at the minute, really enjoying it and I usually get bored of these games pretty quickly.
April 9, 20206 yr I've just been playing the new Mount & Blade, really good but gets boring really fast sadly 😞 Early Access for you...

I almost bought IV as it was sale for £13. The American was good but I always lose interest playing games second time around
April 9, 20206 yr Dragon Quest Heroes. Basically it's a mix of Dynasty Warriors and.......well, Dragon Quest 😆 I'm also playing GTA Vice City. It's the one GTA game I never got around to playing years ago, so I thought I would give it a go. Edited April 9, 20206 yr by Scott Harris

April 10, 20206 yr I’ve been clearing out my PS Plus freebie library, Uncharted 1-3 done and Bioshock 1 & 2 done. Just started Bioshock Infinite and the f**kers have put uncharted 4 up this month!

April 30, 20206 yr Anyone bored of not being able to buy new games? I noticed that No Mans Sky was on sale in the PS store for £18 and was tempted. I looked into it more and found the developers have improved it a lot since it’s release and it’s got good reviews. By the time I came back, it was back upto £35. Not paying that much when you can get it from CEX for £15. Apart from that, I’m not playing anything.

There is something about not having an 'end goal' as such that keeps me playing. I'm fishing, catching bugs and donating to my local museum. It's very therapeutic after working all day. No Man's Sky is finally the game that was promised when it was first released. They have tons of stuff added to it now and I've watched some Youtube videos. Still, I'm not going to buy it again. They lied from the start about the game and will not be getting my money a second time.

I hate these twee games, ooh sell flowers and buy a painting for your house.... I got my daughter it, I`m now fully addicted to it 😬
April 30, 20206 yr Anyone seen the trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla? Looks very Games of Thrones!

I adored Odyssey, I don’t mind that the AC games have moved away from the “assassin” gameplay and have gone full on RPG. Vallhalla will be a day 1 purchase for me.
April 30, 20206 yr I tried playing Origjns but I couldn’t get into it unfortunately. Couldn’t get into the combat. Plus the eagle thing was weird.

I`m enjoying Odyssey though I`m getting to the point where I lose interest. I`ll probably go back to it but a Viking version is more to my liking, it looks really good.
May 1, 20206 yr Streets of Rage 4 is bloody great, so much fun and thankfully they stuck to the original concept quite well. I also got that Jedi game its pretty decent, thought a bit linear and doesnt really introduce anything new. Its very well done though, very slick.

I am old enough to remember when ubisoft actually put time and effort into recreating the true history, where this is some trashy fantasy sh*t. A wonderful review of a awful trailer Edited May 3, 20206 yr by kiwi1691
May 3, 20206 yr Last of Us 2 coming out in June. In other news, my son is playing Goat Simulator. Such a stupid but addictive game. Amazing how some ideas catch on and make millions whilst others don’t.
