Any game recommendation?

went and bought NieR Automatu, and right near it was Horizon Zero Dawn for $10, so I nabbed that and very glad I did.  NA hasn't even had a look in yet

Kingdom come deliverance is good, but the combat is ridiculously hard, like damn near impossible hard. I dont think I've won a fight yet ha ha....Though I`m sure the fancy pants lady blah blah fancies me.

@ForeverCarefree that control you've been playing, what's that about / is it any good?

Hard to explain what the games about... It's pretty abstract.

Game is decent so far but it's got some pretty bad performance problems, specifically massive frame rate drops that happen way too frequently. Possibly the worst I've seen on PS4 for some time.

I've quite enjoyed the game so far though, combat is decent, fun enough. More than anything I'm just happy to have something new to play, it's been a dry few months for decent new releases.

Tell me about it. I am re-playing GTA V and working my way through Assassins Creed: Odyssey, but desperately want something new to play.

This is where GamePass has came in handy for me on the exbox, just been playing all kind of random games and found some I loved.

I will get control at some point as I like remedy games, especially the old Max Payne games which Control is similar to apparently, only much more trippier?

Days Gone survival mode has kept me going whilst plugging away at the Detroit platinum - 1 more trophy to go!

I think I’m going to replay Days Gone. Such a fantastic game.

If you want a bit of a challenge go for survival mode, it makes you think a lot more about what you’re doing!

Just downloaded the new Serious Sam Classic release from Steam. I used to be quite good at these types of games but haven't played much for about 10 years and now I'm rusty as hell. Still great fun though. The headless kamikaze bombers are one of my favourite ever computer game enemies.

Gears 5 is excellent, a return to gears 1&2 after the shambles 4th game.

Also got borderlands 3 which is erm..... Bordelandsy. Bloody love these daft games.

Both games ended up costing me a total of £8 due to game pass and MS rewards points.

4 days till the Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening remaster is out on Switch.

That's all that's getting me through this week. Can't wait to play it again and feel a wave of nostalgia! #mabevillage #mustwakethewindfish

I can’t believe I’m doing this but I’m going to pre-order the new CoD, it’ll be the first since MW2 but I’ve watched some beta stuff online from the PS4 and it looks incredible and truly going back to the good old MW2 days with a bit extra thrown in. I really hope I’m not disappointed.

Have a bunch of games bought a few newer ones but somehow don't get round to making use of them.

The Last of Us
Uncharted 4
Arkham Knight
Deus Ex Mankind Divided
Evil Within 2
Until Dawn
MGS Phantom Pain
A Way Out
Metro Exodus
Days Gone
Spiderman
Red Dead 2
Man of Medan

Only one I've played from there and finished was The Last of Us. It was good but a little bit limited in the gameplay mechanics.

Played a bit of Red Dead 2. Never liked these open world GTA assassin's creed type choose a mission games but thought I'd give it a go because of all the good reviews. Hasn't really got me into it so far.

The next on that list would be MGS Phantom Pain, get through the first hour or so and it really turns into a great game, and remember not to kill Quiet.

Until Dawn is good too, but more of a film like game.

What’s everyone playing at the minute?

I’ve finished Days Gone - fantastic game. I tried playing Just Cause 4 but couldn’t get into it. I think playing it after Days Gone made it feel quite superficial with no depth.

Thinking of getting Rage 2.

If you thought JC4 was superficial then you`ll think the same of Rage 2.

I`m playing through Gears 5 and Borderlands 3 at the moment and loving both games. Gears is a beautiful looking game and a real jump in quality over 4. Borderlands 3 is just more borderlands, and thats the way I like it.

Near the end of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake on the Switch. It's such a beautiful game and steeped in nostalgia for me. About to climb the mountain, enter the giant egg and face the Nightmare.

Next up is Ori and the Blind Forest!

Star Wars and Death Stranding out next month.

Death Stranding looks dreadfully dull. A walking simulator, as many have already pointed out. Though who knows, that self-righteous berk Kodjima may surprise us all

The ladder climbing looks amazing though....... That Kojima is far too indulged, he's dissappeared right up his own ass. Mgs 5 was a mess, I gave up after 30 minutes.

I’m nearing the end of Days Gone on survival mode which I only started because the devs were adamant that they weren’t going to add new game plus.

Turn it on this morning - new game plus added with 3 trophies one of which is finish the game on Hard II or Survival.

It takes 60 hours a f**king play through if you skip the cutscenes!
