SO are the rumours of Boateng being injured true or garbage? If true then they really are in the sh*t defensively.

Nothing whatsoever anywhere in the German media or live tv etc. Live from the stadium atm discussing the Bayern choreography in the Südkurve.

No mention of any injury problems at all.

    Left wing I suspect. Although he and Ash will probably overlap as he can cover defensively.

    If true a massive moment for Ryan, especially as he wasn't getting a look-in with AVB earlier in the season and we were heavily linked with replacing him with that LB from Porto.

    I'm not against Bertrand playing tonight as I think it's a better option than Malouda, Sturridge or Torres given how much our defence has been weakened, just hope the game isn't too big for the lad, great players though and a great opportunity for him.

    Amazing that Bertrand is starting! What an experience for the kid! Apparently he is going to be on the left of midfield in front of Cole.

    I've got a tenner on us winning 2-1. But to be honest i couldn't give a sh*t how we win it as long as we win it.

    Well everyone I'm off down the pub for some much needed refreshment in a bit. The pre-match banter is almost over and it's time to get back on the horses and each head back to our own lines,(via the boozer obviously), to prepare for battle.

    Yeah, Bosingwa and Torres is hardly the most defensively solid right hand side I've ever seen.

    Kalou will most likely start on the right, to cover for Bosingwa. The left wing is up for grabs by Torres, Malouda (if fit) and Sturridge. Or even Bertrand.

    Wait, is the Bertrand thing related to Cole being used as a CB?

    I dont know if, in all these previous pages, its been confirmed that Gary and Luiz will be playing.
