lots of reports saying we may play him. sturridge or torres would be other option, but neither are great defensively

I like the line up with Bertrand in it, we will probably defend most of the game and i for one dont care how we win it as long as we do! Ive got butterflies in my stomach, just hope the wife stops yapping soon or im gonna lock her in the garage till after the game

This is what I'm expecting as well. Just listening to BBC radio and they seem to think they have some inside info that Bertrand will be starting in this position. To be honest I'm quite happy with it. Malouda and Sturridge are both playing extremely poorly. Torres would probably be my second choice for this position, but if we start him we have got no one to come off the bench that can cause Bayern's defence problems. Basically we have to keep the game tight and play on the counter attack.

Bertrand will provide good support to Cole against Robben, but he's also quick and can cross. I think RDM will have done the right thing if he starts him.

Going to a mate's house to watch it tonight, probably going to be the only Chelsea fan there. I hope they don't mind me screaming their house down for possibly 2 hours.

So we're forging our next left back in a CL final by putting him up against one of the best wingers on the planet? And people say we never play the youngsters.

No injury problems at all being mentioned in the German media. Munich police report that both sets of fans are behaving and mixing well with very little trouble atm.

Really hope it's extra time plus penalties with Blackpool Spammers so I've got more to focus on effort our little game...!

Most of us seem to not have mentioned it, but is anyone else excited for Cahill tonight? He went from relegation struggles with Bolton to playing the Champions League final in just a year.

LOL Zippy. I'm sure there would have plenty on here willing to give that a go but that is quite a feat in 2 mins. I think it would have been much easier with plain doughnuts. Chocolate would taste funky with that mixture of condiments. Then again anything for a ticket.

Its possible. Al Jazeera are usually pretty accurate in their news reports. However seems unlikely that no other media outlets would have picked up on the news. Especially the German media.

Its an interesting idea. Not to mention he would be relatively unknown to Bayern so perhaps give us a small element of surprise. Having said that I would have thought we need more help defensively on the right side. Ribery vs. Bossie. [Gulps!]

Yeah, Bosingwa and Torres is hardly the most defensively solid right hand side I've ever seen.
