Can i give it to cisse? Our best player was torres and that's because he was given nothing all night long but worked hard and showed a few bits of quality! Bertrand close second!

Torres, so little to feed on but still put the shift in chasing down and tracking back...... lesson to Sturridge when things arent going quite right you do still put the effort in , fans appreciate that and are more forgiving.

Went for Bertrand, another very solid performance. Made some excellent runs, kept the ball well and was good in the air too. There were a couple of times where Malouda could have fed him through but cut inside instead and we ended up losing the ball. Looks like an extremely valuable player.

Had to go for Bertrand, didn't really offer much going forward today, but he's solid yet again, very, very solid.

If cisse had been an option would have voted for him, just a fantastic player. Went for Mikel, wasn't overly convinced by anyone to be honest but he looked very composed on the ball and has started looking for the forward pass a bit more often which was one of the huge criticisms he has faced on this forum in the past

Torres. He created alot in the beginning of both halves, and our best chance (the header to Malouda) was a brilliantly worked chance.

Also, showed for me why he should play as a starting winger flanking DD on May 19th.

What is with the revisionism? We werent that bad today, we were just shut down by an organized unit, and sunk by two wonder goals. Any other day, its 0-0 and we push on and win it late.

Even the usual whipping boys were not that bad, they just werent exceptional. And as others have said, tired.

Voted for Bertrand but Torres showed once more that he is the best winger we have on our books.

Bertrand. He ran all night and created the kind of overlapping options that Ash used to. For some reason noone wanted to give him the ball.

Defo Torres for me (Studge watch and learn). Tores put in a massive shift. Also, agree with others Bertrand had a solid game.
