NJBlue31
I'm not one to know the credibility of any given football site over rumors they produce, but I just came across this while browsing links on BBC's website under gossip. http://www.caughtoff...n-arsenal-pair/ I am a fan of football as a game, by far my favorite sport to watch and generally I like to think positively of most players and teams as long as they aren't in direct contention with Chelsea. But obviously being a Chelsea fan there are some teams that I just can't like no matter what. Arsenal is a team that I almost try to know as little about...due to how much I just don't like them. So when I see this rumor pop up suggesting that Chelsea may try to sign Walcott and Sagna from Arsenal, I have to ask, is this even a good idea? I know Ashley Cole and Anelka have proven their worth but they came from an older different Arsenal. I have to admit my ignorance on the subject because I can't seem to reason that any player on Arsenal is somebody I wish played for Chelsea, RVP did have a quality season though and I tip my cap to that. Castiel
Sanga is decent but Walcott? I'd rather stick with Sturridge. We don't need to raid Arsenal. There is a reason they've won f**k all in 7 years.
DoubleHelix74
No thanks! Lets move on, nothing to see here... Let them stay at the Arse!

HazardsLeftPeg
Didnt Sanga just break his leg and out of Euro? That is true. Should be out for at least 4 months. As if the story wasn't ridiculous enough to start with..
AndyBlue82
I smell bullsh*t!!! Just looking at the source should tell you everything you need to know about this rumour. Don't want either of them near my team!
CacOBG
Neither, lol. Who needs mediocre players from Arsenal?
Andreas
Sagna is decent but hes injured all the time, so no thanks!
Uno
Sagan would be an ok buy but the arse wouldn't sell him to us. Walcott is worse than Kalou. We might as well kept Kalou.

BaneIvanovic
Take it with a pinch of salt as Caughtoffside just made that story up. Getting those two wouldn't strengthen our side in any way because both wouldn't start for our side (we have much better options at RB and RW than the pair). abramovich
1. Gaughtoffside is a load of rubbish. Some guy has too much time on his hands and makes up nonsense. 2. Sagna is a top class fullback, but he is already 29 and is recovering from a broken leg. 3. Walcott is an injury prone headless chicken. He's got two redeeming qualities: he's very fast and he's English. Neither is good enough though to justify spending money on him. 4. Arsenal won't sell them to us. 5. We don't need them. rvrocelot
i think walcott has some decent qualities its just he is being wasted at arsenal at chelsea maybe he could blossom but he probs wouldn't get the playing time
HazardsLeftPeg
He's certainly scored a fair few goals against us for someone who's usually branded useless on here.

HazardsLeftPeg
Yes. We should sign everyone who's scored against us. Thats exactly what I said.
Gem
I like Song but other than that, minus RVP, Arsenal do not have a player in their starting XI that would overhaul one of ours IMO.

AndyBlue82
Can we petition the mods to delete this thread as it depresses me to see we're even being linked to players like this! The only plus for Walcott is that he's English. Would rather we kept Kalou tbh
BaneIvanovic
Song wouldn't get in out starting XI. The only Arsenal players that would are RvP (assuming he maintains his scoring next season), Wilshere and Koscielny.

I've not seen enough of Wilshere to be honest to pass comment.
