Just a little game. What do you think is the best team, including subs, of ex-Chelsea players still playing today?

Cudicini

Bosingwa, Huth, Gallas, Bridge

Duff, Cole, Ballack, Robben

Drogba, Anelka

^ I haven't check to see if they are all playing but that would be our best ex XI, wouldn't it?

I'd throw Tiago in central midfield rather than play Joe Cole there, and is Ballack still a better player than Meireles?

The rest look good - Carlo's not seeing much time these days, but it's not like we have any other ex-keepers of starting calibre.

Marco Ambrosio is still going strong.

Also Zhirkov is twice the player Wayne Bridge is now.

Zhirkov, Stoch, Kalou, Tore, and Glen Johnson all spring to mind, although the last one is mostly due to his attacking display against Ukraine, I know his defending leaves a lot to be desired. Carvalho doesn't play much anymore, but I'd still be tempted to include him as well.

Alex is definitely better than Huth and Gallas, other than that can't think of an others.

Oh, and as much as I can't stand him, Scott Parker should probably be in there.

the duffer has to be there, he has gone down hill since leaving us and only shows hes best here and there, but what a player he was for both club and country.

robben is better now than kalou and queresma by a country mile, and you've huth starting and on the bench.

Yeah, i accept that Robben is likely to be better than the players you mentioned, but i didnt want to put him in both teams. I reckon Geremi wouldnt get near either of these teams ahead of Bossy or Johnson, but i always found him fairly loveble. It's just for fun anyway, i am not saying my team is the best, but that is who i would play...

I think we'll all forgotten a certain Tiago who plays for Atletico Madrid (I think). I probably wouldn't add him though.
