Firstly I'm thrilled at the start we've had so far and the recent success of Chelsea football club.Despite this, in my opinion these have been my honest thoughts on team selection.

1. Ramires is wasted on the right ,as we saw against qpr as soon as he moved into a more central role he looked a beast .

2.We are sleeping on one of the most talented players in the country in Oscar. Ok he is young but he's more than ready ,I'm itching for this guy to get a start. You don't wear a number 10 shirt for Brazil for no reason.

3.Say what you like about Danny sturridge but the guy looks a constant threat in the small amount of minutes he's played . Torres has bagged a few goals but why not rotate for a game and see how Danny gets on. Or is the mighty Torres too much of a big name to leave out ?

4. Moses looked really positive, direct and more natural on that side than any other player we have. I would like to see him start on the right with Ramires central.

5.Frank Lampard . I've been watching him real close so far this season. What on earth is he offering the team in his current role. He seems to have become shy of the ball, sloppy in possesion .

We are getting results but to secure long term Success in the league we need the team to play in harmony. Forget the names , transfer fees and what not id like to see an 11 that compliment eachother in a recognised shape . Am I alone here or are you guys feeling this too.

This would be my team . Cech, Cole,Terry,Luiz,Branna,Ramires,Oscar,Hazard,Mata,Hazard,Sturridge.

I'd probably swap Torres in for Sturridge and maybe Cahill for Luiz but other than that I think you're spot on!

P.S you have Hazard in twice which would be amazing but sadly not possible.

No doubt a Ramires-Oscar pivot looks very pretty right now, but both players like to attack and it'll leave us open to the counter attack. Against a team like Juventus you need a holder like Mikel.

For me that doesn't offer us a single offended willing to consistently play the defensive role (different to a deeper role as one is a style of play and the other is just an area of the pitch). We'd be murdered by decent sides, much like Keegan's old teams.

I think we're all a bit confused about the players that play in the 2 'double pivot' positions.

They don't have to be defensive midfielders, they just both have to have discipline when 1 goes the other stays.

If you look at Man City, they don't play with 1 defensive and 1 attacking midfielder, they play with 2 ball playing midfielders.

We've just got used to watching a team with a defensive midfielder, now we should see 2 ball playing midfielders!

To me this was the start of the end for AVB last season when he got is sooooo wrong in how he set up and sent the team out .

Torres has bagged a few goals but why not rotate for a game and see how Danny gets on. Or is the mighty Torres too much of a big name to leave out ? - No Torres to start for me . the biggest problem with Sturridge is Sturridge he is still far to Hollywood and always looking for the glory ball . He is such a talent and when it works he looks fantastic .......................trouble is it doesn't work more often than it does at present

I always wonder why lesser talented teams with less creative players, with less big name players than ours seem to play the more attractive football.....guess we can only put that down to management and politics? We play in blue....so I guess we have to play conservative?

Wake me up when we have Yaya Toure playing CM for us.... Until then Id like to have someone in midfield with a shred of defensive capabilities and positioning ability.

I love the guy, and thinks he is our best ever player but i find it very ovbious that Lampard need to go. There is no way in hell he would be playing right now if he didn`t have his name and we really should care more about our quest for titles than babysitting old and rusty players. He don`t have to legs anymore.

Give Oscar a chance.

Secondly Ramires cannot play as a winger anymore. Yes, it works against Napoli and Barcelona in CL with their fullbacks bombing forward but against 9 out of 10 PL-teams? Cannot cross to save his life, very, very limited dribling and his first-touch really makes me wonder sometimes. Works great as a midfielder but no more Ramires on the right. Sturridge or Moses in.

Make those two changes and i think we will see quite an improvement.

City were just the best example available.

My point is as long as the players are disciplined then you don't need a Makalele type.

I'm not sure why you even play Mikel in a game like QPR. We should be looking to score early and often. Let's face it QPR aren't an offense threat. Through Mikel in when we have a 2 or 3 goal lead and let him clean up.

I am not sure what to think of the team at the moment, too early to tell really.. I think there is a bit of an imbalance in the midfield and up top we are exceptionally light. I hope we sort this in January, need cover at the very least.

I think at the back we will be fine for the most part. The midfield has great attacking prose and potential for sure, but we have no bully in the middle who can throw in a few hard tackles and break things up. Mikel is the closest thing we have to this and he's kinda on his own after that.

Lampard is certainly much much slower but he can still do a job surely if he is used correctly. I hope RDM is not afraid to take players of his stature off the field when they are not performing. Cant believe Oscar didn't get a run out at the weekend. We had so much time to see it wasn't going anywhere and this could have been the change that made the difference.

QPR was always going to be tricky, but we really should be creating a lot more chances and putting them to the sword, lacking the killer instinct and win at all costs attitude I think.

Moses looks interesting, Torres needs to get more involved, stop losing the ball when he gets it and put a stop to his sulking.

A complete waste of two points really.

I can't disagree with any of that. One of our problems over recent seasons in my opinion, has been the selection of major players whether they're in form or not (some of them getting picked when they've been utter sh*te for weeks on end) and as a consequence our fringe players and youngsters don't get the opportunities they deserve.

Good picks but we forgot one player....The mindset...

Agree with most of what has been said, but I think that although he is sure to get some starts, Moses will more likely be used as an impact sub like against Cue-Pee-Are.

Not sure Oscar and Rambo would be able to provide the defensive backup required in the double pivot, so I'd go for Oscar and Mikel as a 1st choice.

Then again, I'm turning into a massive Oscar fanboy...

I'd put Cahill up there in place of Luiz. I'm still not convinced that Luiz is right for us.

On another note, and on the subject of another team entirely, I heard a rumour today about a player behaving badly who's going to great lengths and spending lots of money to buy people's silence.
