I hope we make it to 500 pages.

God knows what'll happen if he goes on a scoring spree. Or not.

This thread would probably quiet down...or all the people who have defended Torres would go "I knew it was only blip" "form is temporary, class permanent" and so on. I have mostly defended him but agreed he'd be better elsewhere...probably. So many posts.

That would be fabulous if he did that, the thing would quieten down, because everything that has been said, wouldn't be repeated again and again and again, it would be like a new thread.

Then i wake up and realise it was all just a bad dream, we never signed Torres, he stayed at LFc, and helped them to 2 PL titles another CL trophy and voted Ballon D'or winner, oh i wish we had of signed Torres....

If Torres plays and manages to go round De Gea I would LOVE to see a collection of everyone's faces on this forum as it happens.

He didnt do anything wrong.

He opened up the game when he came on in the second half.

He certainly wasn't pure sh*t anyway.

Agreed that he opened it up, gave the defence something to worry about and allowed us to keep the ball in their half but when he had the ball he lost it almost every time.

I get what you mean, but with the ball he was useless. I think Lukaku could have done better

Lukaku should be chosen but for some reason Jose doesn't seem to want to start him

He gave us something different and it made us look a bit more potent in attack which was an improvement but I think Lukaku could have/probably would have done more for us.

Schurrle and Ramires picked the wrong passes, Torres just couldn't get the ball under control.

 

I just think we were all expecting Lukaku really.

They didn't lose the ball everytime they got it though, he did

Lukaku may have offered more, but we'll never know.

 

Torres did a decent job when he came on. Didn't get much service, and a lot of the time the only thing he had on was the quick one-two.

 

Lukaku will get his opportunity, I think some people have such a high estimation of his ability though, that they might be a bit disappointed when he does.
