I got Far Cry 3 for christmas about 2 years ago. It's still in the plastic wrapping, never opened it.

That first person GTA looks so so good. I can see myself having a ton of head-on crashes into lorries while riding a motorbike though, judging from that video.

 

It's weird, I never got into the missions of GTA on my 360. I've done a few but I just spent ages on free-play. I probably should get back into it and follow the storyline a bit more as I'm sure I'll find a lot more stuff to do.

 

Getting a prostitute or visiting a strip club should be interesting in first person.

I'm only just playing the game on PS3 now...had it for ages, but I am just god awful at all shooting games, so I struggle to motivate myself to do it, even though I want the story. But I'm into it now, and having fun (even if I'm still terrible)...but I intend to finally get a PS4 near christmas time (hopefully there'll be some deals), and wanted to make the most of PS3 time (having not played in months and months). Sort of the same with Uncharted games...they're amazing, I just suck at them.

 

Gotta be honest...I wish it was first-person. Much prefer the look in the video above. That said, when I get a PS4, I won't be getting GTA5, there's just no point, considering I'm only playing it through now, and given my ineptitude at most of the game mechanics (flying, shooting etc), I doubt I could enjoy online that much.

If you have a current xbox membership for the xbox 360 does that carry over to the xbone?

Yeah it does. If any Xbox owner wants to try sunset overdrive then we can do that game share thing, I think. Though I'm not sure how it works.

You have a choice of camera view you want.

You can even customise it so that only driving is in first person while free roam is 3rd or vice versa.

It's actually shaping up to be a cracking release on next gen.

AND the power bar on the controller will flash red and blue when you're being chased by the cops. The police radio chatter will come through the speaker on the controller too, as will phone calls! You can also use the touch pad to swipe left and right to change the radio stations!

Yeah just set up a DD to take £33 odd every month and I didn't notice a dent in my fianances like unlike if you took it out all at once.

or get it on credit card, transfer the balance to a 0% card and pay that off. My mates just done exactly that

Apparently Asda are doing an XBone bundle as part of their "Black Friday" thing (except it's on Saturday and not Friday). Stock is likely to be limited and the whole thing is a blatant ploy to get people into the store, but it might still be of interest to some.
