It's not nice, especially after promising the guy would be part of the squad for next season, but then again, it's better for him to join a good club and see what he can do next season. He's still only 20, so plenty of time for him to improve.

Jose has brought in one established star and one only, and in a position that needed to be addressed, because we need a bonafide class striker, that's what all our creative players deserve, a striker that's on their level.

 

Lukaku, as I've said many times, was never going to be more than back-up this season.

 

Everton is a step up for him, bigger club, more pressure, more exposure, and thankfully they're not one of our rivals.
