JT for England ?

Featured Replies

i think he should just stick by his decision. lets face it, hes not one of the best 2 centre halfs in england at the moment, he barely plays and isnt in great form. its just going to be a bit embarassing if he makes himself available again only to get overlooked. leave it JT and dedicate yourself to being in the best condition for Chelsea

Coxy - Who are the two best centre halfs in England that you're referring too?

It's true JT has not been at his best this season, but that is only cos of his knee injury...before then he was as good as always and was one of England's best players at the euros...if he wants one last crack, who can blame him...it's not as if England have many top defenders to take his place...we've looked a lot worse at the back since he quit

JT and Cahill CB pairing is as good as anything else England has right now, especially if it means Rio goes back to being a bench warmer.

I too think its time for JT to concentrate on CHELSEA  FC......He is a bit prone to injury now and from a selfish point of view i think playing for both England and US is too much

I think the point is that he hasnt been playing regular for us and that has made him realise that maybe he shouldnt have been so rash in his decision in quitting England.

Im pretty sure if he had just completed a 2 game a week full season with us his head wouldnt have even been on England.

**EDIT**

Oh noooo the Guardian used the C word .

Terry, who had admitted using the words "*ucking *lack *unt"

i agree that if terry is in form then he is probably englands best centre half, i just dont think he would be in the first team on the basis of this season, and id rather he didnt go if he was just going to sit on the bench for england.

Completely agree Geez.

He's still struggling for fitness and a bit of form, last thing he needs is to get involved with the circus again.

I think ILTM has got it spot on, he quit playing partially to extend his Chelsea career, seeing as the Interim has barely used him he is thinking he might as well play for England again.

Where's the proof that he's said this? "Sportsmail can reveal" isn't the same as "John Terry has said, 'I want to play for England again'", is it?

I hope it is only more rubbish dreamed up by some bored sports hack even though that would suggest that some scumbag is trying to make JT look bad yet AGAIN.

And if it's not, I can only say that the FA and the third raters in the England team don't deserve you John, you're well out of it.

Hopefully not. All the sh*t he's taken from the FA the media the "fans" of England despite giving his absolute all every time he played for them is disgusting.

"However, a source close to Terry told BBC Sport that although he is not reversing his decision to retire, should England suffer an injury crisis and ask him to play, he might consider it."

I'd PMSL if the FA acted upon that and asked John to return only for him to tell them to irse a la mierda.

More to the point, none of this is really important. THIS is what matters and why I have such a liking for our Captain:

"Despite starting only three league games in 2013 under the rotation policy of interim boss Rafael Benitez, Terry said he had no plans to leave Chelsea.

"I've got another year [at Chelsea] and definitely will be here next year," said Terry, who made his debut for the team in 1998 and has been captain in all three of their Premier League-winning campaigns.

"Where I would go after that it certainly wouldn't be in England. I couldn't do that to Chelsea or the fans. That's just not me."

Benitez is set to leave Chelsea at the end of the season and former boss Jose Mourinho, who was at the helm for two of their three titles, has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge.

"It would be nice to get some silverware, get the season out of the way and maybe talk contracts in the summer," Terry said.

"It depends on my fitness and me staying in a good enough condition to impress the guys who make those decisions.

"I have got another year left which I will honour and respect, regardless if it's a yes or a no." "

@ noseating

As we all know J.T and a press scandal go hand in hand and in the last week we have had J.T being made to go public by the club he loves to say how him and the fsw have no issues with eachother an obvious blatant lie. Then we had J.T didnt shake hands with bernstein-gate. And now this. Maybe he did say it maybe he didnt but either way England need some positive pres coz next summer we will all be caught up in the England world cup travelling fail show.
