Lewandowski to Chelsea?

Featured Replies

Thinking about our squad and style of play we are very close with Dortmund. At the moment they are miles ahead in terms of teamplay but we are getting there. That in mind I think Lewandovski should fit our team.

I still think Falcao is more gifted but if we get him for half the sum and bring in Lukaku I think we are lot stronger than at the moment.

Ba will stay and so will Torres.

^ Exactly. He has one year left, as Van Persie did at Arsenal. £25m sounds about right. He's said he's going so Dortmund have to cash in now before he's a free agent. Personally, I hope we stay away from Falcao, because of the fee. We would have to smash the British transfer record again and that bodes ill in my view. I know he's a class act but I'd rather we took the more conservative option in this case. Lewandowski is far younger, would represent good business, and will score goals. There is no doubt about that.

Only two years at that. I've seen Lewandowski be hesitant in front of goal at times, but there's no questioning his build up play and finishing when he's on his game, and would probably be the best bit of business we can do if we're looking for a striker of this caliber. Little doubt Falcao is the best centre forward in the world but Lewandowski would be a cheaper option, and will fit into our style of play easier, as well as allowing Lukaku to get more game time.

Just add a few players from our all time fantasy draft game and you'll be settled. And who on earth is Byram?

EDIT: Just googled, apparently a young right back from Leeds.

Yep, Man City are interested and they already have 2 quality rightbacks. He is very good for his age

Do you have any comprehension of money? Or is this just your fantasy team?

If so, we need a new CB.

Turnbull and Ferreria are out if contract at the end of the season.

Why would you send Cech out on loan when he has been one if the most inform goalkeepers in the league this season?

Selling five central midfielders and buying two.

Loaning out champions league winning left back Bertrand and buying unproven 17 year old Shaw.

Buying Shaw, Falcao, Schurrle, Bale (as if Spurs are going to sell to us anyway) and Felliani? All at the same time? That's maybe £200m in transfer fees, just never going to happen with FFP coming in let alone the realism of securing ALL of those targets.

I'm only loaning out Romeu, the others are being sold

Id take him in a straight swap for KDB. Either that or nothing. We now have many top class youngsters that other clubs want, Now its our turn to be the ones who demand whatever

Yes, Ake is mediocre. Chalobah is far his superior

What exactly has made you come to the conclusion that he is mediocre? He has been outstanding are youth level, has done well in the senior games.
