I was sceptical about the three main characters but they've really made it work great. Overall a fantastic game and much what could've been expected from GTA.

 

A bit disappointed that it's not coming to nextgen consoles but that only leaves it to imagination what the next release will be like.

 

Remember the last nextgen release? The difference between San Andreas and GTA IV was huge, and looking at GTA V I really can't imagine what nextgen can offer. Time will show.

Do you mean disappointed that GTA 5 wont work on the Xbox One?

It will be a 3-5 years until GTA 6 is released I am sure.

Anyone else disappointed with Online play?

 

Ever since I got FIFA 14, I've been playing that so haven't had time to go back to GTA. Will get back to the story at some point though.

I was a bit late to the party buying this, bought it a couple of weeks after the release. 

 

I've still not finished single player yet but I've been doing every mission I can including side missions such as the freaks & weirdos ones.

 

Once I've got enough money I'll buy the businesses as well to do whatever missions come with those.

 

Only dipped into the multiplayer briefly, seems okay but the moment I'm not sure it is something I will want to play for ages things like deathmatch and racing don't really appeal to me but heists would but I don't know how much of that is a part of the online. 

The online mode was massively over hyped, much like the game really. There just isnt enough to do really online. You should be able to rob banks and things like that. Its only death matches and racing really. Both get very boring very quickly.

As you level up you unlock a lot more to do. My favourite at the moment is survival, which is essentially a Horde/nazi zombie type mode.

 

Also, Rockstar are giving everyone $500,000 soon   In-game money that is...

As far as the best game ever might just be true, but in my opinion there's never going to be a better storyline than Gta San Andreas, ever. And ofc. ain't ever going to be a better multiplayer than sa-mp.

Its funny reading some of your posts and how highly you rate this game. each to their own i guess.

Finished the main story last night and will probably spend a bit of time buying up the properties and doing whatever missions come with those, maybe find a few of the stunt jumps that kind of thing.

 

Will definitely jump into multiplayer now and as a friend also plays it and get a crew going to see what how far we can get.

 

The game is a lot of fun but at no point did I feel challenged by it, I never thought I wouldn't be able to any part of the game which would be my only criticism. I have enjoyed playing it but I wouldn't say it was anywhere near the best game I have played personally.

The games graphics are really lovely but that is all it has to offer. Apart from that it has been such a let down.

I'm about 11 hours in with the online now. 

 

More modes and mission types become available once you have leveled up a bit but the initial leveling, I think, is a bit of a grind.

 

I've now unlocked the survival mode which is a lot of fun and pays up big money as well, from a couple of hours playing that with a friend last night I got around $45k and leveled up a fair bit too. 

 

I understand that Rockstar wouldn't want to make everything too easily obtainable but I do think that initially the online isn't as instantly gratifying as a lot of people would have liked.

Sorry, only just seen this. You basically can resell a car or bike over and over by a bit of jigging about. They patched it up but only yesterday, someone found another way.

You can get that amount (or potentially more) by the glitch in about 15 seconds.
