I'm not overly fussed, I can wait. I hardly ever use my Ps3 anyway, it just sits there gathering dust.

It's amazing, but I see no problem waiting for it if you aren't excited to play it yet.  I've heard nothing but great things about Bioshock: Infinite and Last of Us, but I just bought Bioshock used with GTA since I was trading stuff in, and still haven't got Last of Us.

 

Plus, some other big, open-world games like Fallout and Skyrim can be plagued with bugs at launch, so I'm sure GTA will be even better functioning after some minor patching over the next couple of weeks. 

Has anyone got the app for GTA? You can train Chop and custom your car etc, its not bad for a free app. It contects to the game as well so all that you do on the app will transfer to the game.

I was thinking more along the lines of getting a used copy from Game or something.

You guys know you can just rent it and keep it for as long as you want from Blockbusters, etc, right?

As for GTA, I've really been all that into the storymodes. Gets boring after a while for me personally. However I will be getting GTAV when the online mode comes out, that looks much more entertaining. Can't wait!

How much money is Trevor supposed to start with? I saved the game after being introduced to his safe house, when I came back to the save he had 108654 on him. I didn't check how much he had beforehand, so I'm not sure if it's some sort of glitch.

I noticed this too! I have no idea how or why he has that amount of money with him, but i'm not going to question it.

How to win in GTA:

 

1) Go to Ammu-Nation and stock up on Machine Guns / Shotguns / Body armor etc

2) Drive around and find an alley with only one escape

3) Position cars at end of Alley and produce a choke point

4) Find some cover in alley (Always usually a door or something)

 

You have now prepared.

 

5) Go and kill someone in plain sight to get your star level to 2.

6) Retreat to the alley making sure to be seen.

7) Set yourself up behind your cover

8) Destroy all who enter Alley.

9) Enjoy tanks trying to get into alley

 

You are now a GTA V master troll. Enjoy your shwoopy loopy arms

I like planting sticky bombs on the pavement/road, then detonating from afar. This game is turning me into a psychopath.

I will be getting GTAV when the online mode comes out, that looks much more entertaining. Can't wait!

Had a go at this and after the customary GTA homicidal rampage, I played golf with Michael for an hour, then spent a couple of hours trying to steal an airbus from the airport and land it on a bridge.  Needless to say, society at large should be thankful that I'm not a pilot.

Society should also be glad that I don't play golf, as it seems I'd beat groundskeepers to death with a 9 iron to vent my frustrations and ultimately die in a police shoot-out on the course. 

 

Speaking of police shootouts, does anyone else think the cops in this game are a bit aggressive?  I've been shot at for fighting in the streets.  Or are American police really that trigger happy?

Also the cop aggression is working as intended. American cops are famous for their police brutality. I barged into one when walking down the road (like a f**king G, I might add), and he went all hissy at me and batoned me :(

Just completed the main story, great game.

Ive got to the part where you have to pretend to be dead to get into a building and then make your way out alive.

I cant wait for the online game to go live. It should be quite good.
