If he goes I wish him well. Several forgotten saves vs Liverpool completely overshadowed by other events that day.

A great goalkeeper and great person in general. I think it's been fantastic to see an Australian a part of the Chelsea team and to actually make a very positive contribution to the club.

 

His efforts last season as back-up to Cech were fantastic and that in itself should be recognised by everyone here. He was outstanding in that famous game against Liverpool at Anfield and while we lost to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Semi Final Mark still played a solid game especially for a 42 year old.

 

Sad to see him go but with both Courtois and Cech here he was never going to get a look in sadly so I wish him all the best at Leicester City now.

Just met Mark Schwarzer in Morrisons on my lunch break.

Had he dropped his shopping? :)

Nah he had a trolley. He was very friendly and really tall.

I don't think Morrisons do printing, I reckon he was just there doing his food shopping. 

I have a really old phone, i.e. one without a camera.

 

I didn't particularly want to bother him while he was doing his food shopping, so I just said 'you alright man?' with a massive grin on my face as we walked past each other. He grinned back, said 'you alright?' and winked at me.

I always feel too embarrassed to ask for photos etc when with famous people. Seems cheeky

The thought entered my mind (it is possible he might have mistaken me for a girl), although I assumed he was just being friendly as it was abundantly obvious how chuffed I was at having met him.
