Sarcasm sir...but yea, I don't think it will happen either but there is a chance and i'm hoping on that 

i hope we sign a CM otherwise this window will be a tiny bit underwhelming.

A tad, but Falcao is an upgrade on Drogba, Baba is better than Louis or at least has more potential and Pedro is class, so it wouldn't be a bad window,but if we get in a CM and even a CB like we want I think it will be a really top job.

Witsel signing for Juve will change the whole landscape of the deal, especially if Ramires is included in the Pogba deal.

Witsel is a great replacement for Pogba, similar type of player and Ramires is great for squad depth. Unlikely but not quite over.

Didn't we supposedly agree to person terms with Witsel but couldn't make a deal with ZSP?  You would think with out Russian connection, Roman and Maria would have been able to get a deal done.  I REALLY want Pogba but if we can get Witsel and keep Ramires (then hopefully offload Mikel) isn't that better for our team?

In terms of squad composition, not for me... if this transfer happens we'll miss Rami's tenacity, but hopefully it may spur Chalobah (and, perhaps... RLC) to step up and take his squad place.

I know.  If you have followed this thread for the past couple of weeks you might have noticed that I have been one of the biggest supporters of Pogba.  But if Juventus can potentially get a deal done for Witsel, why couldn't we have?
