The fact that you dont want to go for Mandzukic or Costa but rather Benzema tells me we arent going to agree on much football related any time soon

Although he has come out and said he is happy and Liverpool are the biggest club ect I think if Madrid made it public they wanted him he would jump at the chance.

Yes he is. 

He is many, many times better than what we have. He has definitely been inconsistent in the past but this season he was brilliant. Plus he's probably more similar to Drogba than Lukaku is, despite the talk of him being 'Drogba's successor'.

Whenever I see him he seems to fluff decent chances and if Real had a better striker they would have won La Liga at a canter.

BUT he's much better than Ba and 33/34 yr old Eto'o.

I think those people doubting Benz are just too busy watching CR7 or bale to notice all the little things karim does for real. To say Benz is worse than our current strike force is sorely misinformed

That's what worries me

They did say, when talking about the future of Courtios, that things had been a little mixed up after the CL matches we had with them.

 

I have to wonder that, with the carrot of facing a Chelsea team that does not quite live up to the status we had a few seasons ago, if Atletico took advantage of Uefa's ruling, played Courtios knowing they did not have to pay the clause in the loan deal, and have since left a rift between the two sides. Could be that before Courtios was all set to sign a new deal then go back there on loan while Costa was set for us, maybe both of those deals now could be off.

Sky Sports are saying Costa is to have horse placenta treatment for the hamstring injury in the hope he can feature on Saturday. He's already been rushed back and didnt last.

The doc uses fluid from horse placenta to try to speed up the repair of damaged cells. Its been used in the past to treat Van Persie and Lampard.

With the game 3 days away the risk now in this signing is unquestionably massive.
