I want something along the lines of the mauling we gave Arsenal at the bridge last season with Costa getting a hat trick, Fabregas and Torres (i want him to finally pull his finger out) getting on the score sheet. Give them a nice welcome to the premiership. I know there's a difference between wanting and seeing results. But we must aim high.

I have a very good feeling about Costa in this side.

He's apologizing for knocking us out last season? How Bizarre, that's the sort of thing you'd expect the Dippers to force one of their signings to do.

I think Costa is just trying to be polite. It's a nice move, I think. But we all know that he did what a professional had to do, so no excuses necessary. 

Costa has already scored more than Torres in his entire first year I believe. Keep it up Diego!

I'm spamming this thread with my personal stuff but the excitement about Costa reaches Hazardesque levels. He looks like the perfect match for what we need and I am realising my expectations for him may have been completely wrong!

Fleck was awful and although he wasn't expensive David Mitchell is still the worst centre forward i've ever seen.

Hopefully the two goals last night in his first game at the Bridge take away the weight of waiting for that first goal to come (although I know it's only a friendly and some will bring that up).

Guy looks super confident and seems to have fully recovered from the injury/fatigue he carried into the World Cup. Not since a prime Drogba 4-5 years ago have we seen such a confident and brilliant finisher.

Jose seems very happy with him and his comments last night about not rushing to bring a stiker in during last January made sence because he said he was waiting on his player Costa.

The guy coupled with Terry will be first pick on the teamsheet when available and will be so important for us. I would like to bring someone else in to lighten the load on his shoulders though as he knows Drogs and Torres aint gonna set the place alight when he's not playing so thats a huge burden on one guy.

I was one of the major doubters and fast being proved wrong, hopefully I continue to be proved wrong, he looks everything that Torres isn't.
