It's not one game for me mate, I've seen him over 20 times in the last 2 seasons. Van persie has always had more in his locker in my opinion.

I just think for 32m We should be signing a striker capable of more than costa has shown so far in his career.

Maybe those were the 3 times he had a bad game, he's scored plenty of goals last season so he must have done something right. You're provably one of those that didn't rate Cavanni because he was poor against us when you should see players come in and out of firm. Hazard was sh*te last few games of the season for us, had someone only seen those games they wouldn't rate him.

I just think Costa doesn't fit into this Spanish team. Costa wants an early ball all the time but Spain keep trying to walk it in. I'll only judge him when I see him play in a chelsea shirt..

You might be right, add to that as somebody said in the world cup thread Spain's ageing midfield were slow and laboured whats he supposed to do with that?

Hopefully Costa can put in some better performances in the other games, fortunately for him Torres is his competition.

Agreed and as I said before look on the flip side at Podolski great for Germany, average at club level

Also let us not forget Van Persie was garbage in the Euros but that didn't stop him getting the golden boot the season after with United
