Always tried his hardest here and obviously will always be remembered for the chip.

 

Rewatching that goal against Barcelona, the assist from Lampard still befounds me. Perfect weight on the ball, great vision to see Ramires running down that line, great technique and he did all of it whilst going to ground. Superb.

To be fair, all players have room for improvement. I don't see anything wrong with recognizing negative aspects of players games. Do you only see the sunshine and roses when you watch football?

 

Good luck to the Blue Kenyan. I don't remember any specific game he was brilliant for 90 minutes but he usually made his contribution when it was time to be counted on. He made 250 appearances for us and somehow has scored more than either Essien, Di Matteo or Oscar have.

Genuinely sad to see him go. A real battler and very good player when used correctly (ie not on the wing). It's fair to say THAT goal will never be forgotten. Undoubtedly one of the most important Chelsea goals ever. I wish him all the best.

Always liked Ramires, great player to have, some exceptional qualities. Always gave everything and was huge for us in plenty big moments and trophies.

Rami was good for us. We got a good fee for him and I wish him good luck in China and wherever he goes after that, except if he comes back to England and ends up playing against us, which wouldn't surprise me.

Good Luck to him but he wouldn't have improved the side that was put out against Watford. I would imagine even Emille Heskey could manage a few goals in China.
