Cahil for the obvious choice but Cahill without Terry isn't nearly as good, he is good at doing what John tells him to do and he is flakey as we saw last season...Cesc hasn't been at the club long, but big game experience, winning mentality, Controls the tempo from deep, on accolades him but not sure how vocal he is or his leadership skills.

Azpilicueta. Leads by example and knows how to carry out instructions to the letter. He is a true professional at all times. 

You can have 11 captains on the pitch with character and vocal leadership.

Many players can be captains for their international teams as well.

What's important is how the captain/ vice captain deal with the players off the pitch, lots of things needed to keep the group together. Dennis wise was brilliant on and off the pitch as is JT.

Cahill without a doubt, bear in mind he had his work cut out covering for both Ivan who was caught out positionally so often last season it was embarassing, and also for JT, who's lack of speed is starting to tell a bit.

My pick would be Ivanovic but really as none of us know the players personally i'll trust whatever Jose decides is the best choice.

I would say Matic or Azpiliceuta for me. I would have said Branovic a couple of years ago but I want a VC who can be there for a good while and eventually step up to captain.

I think Zouma in time could make a good VC, would be young but possibly a good choice once he becomes starting XI material.

Volatile or passionate to win is a fine line. It would be similar to Cantona as captain, inspirational in my opinion, but never first choice.

It's says Cahill (Vice Captain) on Wiki, maybe a fan just edited that in. Mourinho has said we don't need one.
