All it takes is one person to slip as everyone is running and you've got people being trampled and the possibility of very serious injuries. So utterly stupid of the fans, especially the parents who let their young children run on. Hopefully Villa will have to play a game or 2 behind closed doors to teach those fans a lesson. Not that it would do much I imagine, when you've got drunken idiots just waiting to do something stupid.

I get that they're dangerous situations.  That said - I do think they have a place in football (and sports in general).  If you've just stayed up or been promoted on the final day of the season, go ahead.  If you're currently playing in the Milton Keynes Tiddlywink Association League 2 and knock off a Premier League team in the FA Cup, go ahead.  If your team's captain is playing his final game after 15 years of leading your club, go ahead.

 

If you are a Premier League team, who is in the process of winning an FA Cup Quarter Final a few years removed since you were last there, do not charge onto the field during the game, do not charge onto the field after the final whistle, do not bite your captain, go not pass go, do not pickup your dole cheque for the week.

Doesn't always work that way, tbh can't say he'd be undeserving of it at all.

Kane has had a fantastic break through season and should win young player of the year. He only scored 2 in the first 15 league games of the season though, so for him to win poty ahead of someone like Hazard, who has been the most consistently excellent player in the league this season, would be undeserved.

Hazard has turned up for every big game of the season this year, if we go on and win the title, it will be a travesty if kane gets poty ahead him, or Terry, matic, fabregas, and costa.

There's even been talk coutinho and cazorla being a contender for poty! Neither deserve more than an of the key players in team.

I don't think we'd get anything even if we added the UCL to the mix. But who cares, really? I've said it before, and I'll say it again, what matters is the trophies we win, not what the media thinks.  They can do a runner as far as I'm concerned. 

i think JT should get POY. He's been consistently brilliant. But there's absolutely no chance at all that he would win it.
