We're not big TV people, and we're not BIG tv people. I refuse to have Sky or BT, but principles can get in the way sometimes! ( I also boycott some newspapers). We have chromecast, but it's still in the box, will get the nephew onto it.

We have Fuel broadband and phone and think they are amazing after nightmares with other companies.

My flat doesn't allow for Virgin because their service is via cables, there's a huge dish in the roof for Sky and aerial for BT, but the whole block hasn't been prepped for cables. Infinity is not yet in my area but when it is and I get fiberoptic then zoooooooooom.

What's Skygo?

I have infinity and it is pretty fast but our estate just got Virgin enabled in the Summer so we are looking to switch as Virgin deals are really good value just now and the internet speed is still much faster than Infinity.

Skygo is just something I use on my Ipad (or tablet, Phone, laptop) it lets you stream skysports, movies, shows etc. If you have family who have a sky sports subscription ask if they have used all their slots for Skygo and if not you are sorted!

I see Wenger is moaning again....

"Two English teams have gone out on away goals and that should be questioned.

"The rule was created in the 1960s to favour attacking teams but football has changed."

Wenger said immediately after Tuesday's second leg that Monaco did not deserve to progress.

Speaking on Thursday, the Frenchman said his team now have to "move on" from their fifth Champions League last-16 elimination in a row.

"We know why we went out - it's down to a dreadful defensive performance in the first leg."

He also said tiredness affected his players following their 3-0 Premier League win over West Ham on Saturday.

"West Ham was a very physical game and we paid for it in the second half of the Monaco game. It's a concern," he added

Just seen that Bertrand wasn't selected for England. What a joke. Three left backs in the squad and the best one in the league doesn't make the cut.

Haven't seen the squad but I'm assuming that Baines, Shaw and Gibbs are all ahead of him.

That's what I'd have because they're either currently better than him or have the potential to be. The only one I'd say is close is Gibbs but he's had a decent season by most accounts.

Goalkeepers

Fraser Forster (Southampton), Joe Hart (Man City)

Defenders

Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Phil Jones (Man United), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), Chris Smalling (Man United), Kyle Walker (Tottenham)

Midfielders

Ross Barkley (Everton), Michael Carrick (Man United), Fabian Delph (Aston Villa), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), James Milner (Man City), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Andros Townsend (Tottenham), Theo Walcott (Arsenal)

Forwards

Harry Kane (Tottenham), Wayne Rooney (Man United), Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal)

Except we're big enough to say that we didn't deserve to go through, rather than moan about a rule that we all knew going in.

What an absolute low-life c**t.

Bertrand is having a much better season than all three of the defenders called up, shocking he has missed out in truth.

Probably the best set of strikers we have had to call on in years.

The choice of centre backs is atrocious right now.

How on earth does Andros Townsend keep getting in the England squad? No more Glen Johnson either, it looks like everyone has finally figured him out - I wonder how long it'll be before his inevitable transfer to QPR?

Kyle Walker is still England material though apparently, thank God for Clyne, presumably that right back spot will be his for years to come. Nothing particularly controversial or surprising though, it has to be said. It's a shame the new Darren Bent got in and not Danny Ings, but I suppose it was inevitable. Dunno who should start up front really - my general instinct tells me Rooney behind Sturridge, although Sturridge hasn't exactly been chock full of goals lately. I have a horrible feeling Kane will start...

Not that bad a first XI though: (guess which side we'll be attacking down)

----------------------------Hart

Clyne--------Jagielka--------Cahill------Baines

-----------------Carrick-------Henderson

-------Milner-----------Rooney---------Sterling

---------------------Sturridge/Bent

None of them are better.

Baines hasn't had a good season in about 2 years, he's getting worse. Shaw has barely played, although when he has he's done well (as in better than Baines and Gibbs) so his spot is at least warranted based on performances. Gibbs is inconsistent as hell.

He had no competition at all and still couldn't make the team, pretty shocking.

Wait, we're playing Lithuania??  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

Bums on seats for that one. Then a pointless friendly against an Italy team who beat us in a proper competition less than a year ago.

Jeez, wake me up when Loftus-Cheek gets a call-up.

Baines is still better for me right now, but he's in a poor side. Shaw has the potential to be world class and Gibbs is arguably the form left-back of the three of them.

Bertrand is an average player in a good side.

Anyone for any Man City fans reaction to Aguero's sh*t penalty last night? Wonder if they're going to turn on their best player......

Toure seems to be the main target because he's a lazy, disinterested prick.

I'm already dreading the International Break, at least it is only a week and not 2 weeks this time around.

International breaks are such a boring time for me, I couldn't tell you the last time I watched a full England game that wasn't part of the finals... I'll watch about 10 mins, realise I couldn't care less if we won or lost and then do something else.

Same.

It just feels like a total waste of a weekend to me.

I love my usual routine of putting a line on then watching Soccer Saturday in the pub then taking in the late games afterwards.

It also has me on edge incase any of our improtant players get any knocks.

I agree - international football sucks.

The arguments about omissions seem entirely pointless. We're talking about squad players at best in a side that is too sh*t to win anything anyway.

Bertrand could go in, but so could Cresswell or Rose. As for Townsend the argument seems to be that Ashley Young should get in. f**k me is that what it's come to?

I lost interest when there stopped being 4 Chelsea players in the side and we could just moan about the management f**king up, but now we're just a pretty rubbish side....wait is John Stones not in the squad either?

I've used NowTV a few times via Chromecast and have been very impressed. I'm not all that happy about giving my money to Sky but I have to admit their online services (NowTV, broadband, etc) are first rate. If there's a GP and Chelsea match on the same day then a NowTV day pass represents great value for money for me. That said, most of the time I still prefer to watch Chelsea down the pub.

I've used Now tv a few times, through my p.c and it's been atrocious, lag as bad as 90 seconds between pics and sound one time, now i just stream through vipleague.is, and it's definitely something to do with sky. Because when i get a stream of sky sports through vip league it's perfect, and to be honest, it's much better that i don't have to pay, to listen to the dross of carjacker et al. We have got BT sport with our virgin package, just have to wait and see how much they bump the price up next year. I also like ian darke on BT, i think he's a very good commentator, much better than that bitter old dinosaur tyler.

Is vipleague.is the same as vip box/vip football? I use the latter and the streams are ok but you have to clicky through several adverts to actually get them working!

Welbeck over Ings and Austin is a joke aswell, although tbh I'd have selected him over Townsend.

no i think they are part of the same set up but i just go to the main website, i also have an adblocker. so it it takes about 20 secs to load the stream.

An Italian court has declared the Serie A club Parma bankrupt in a hearing that lasted only 10 minutes.

It is not yet clear whether Parma will be able to finish the season though Associated Press reported that there was a plan in place with the league’s governing body and the Italian football federation to fund the club for the rest of the campaign.

Crazy to think a side that once boasted a team consisting of Thuram, Buffon, Crespo and Cannavaro may no longer exist.
