March 18, 201511 yr For all their great play Barcelona can't seem to put a game to bed. Against a team like Bayern, Atletico and even Juventus (depending on which one turns up) I can see them getting done. Edited March 18, 201511 yr by Remodez
March 18, 201511 yr Atleti, Porto and Monaco = No chance. The rest could do it but it's probably between Barca & Bayern.
March 18, 201511 yr Tyler giving them a moral victory such an apologist for them..'no disgrace in losing to Barca'...what bollox...like us they have spent enough to be able to beat them but have lost two years in a row to them, comfortably too, last 16...barca have never beaten us when we have had 11 men and head to head record is massively in our favour
March 18, 201511 yr Messi That guy can do anything (except take penalties at the moment). Or score against us...but I hope hazard was watching..I don't think he will ever get to Messi's level, but he can do more to get closer to it
March 18, 201511 yr Will be interesting to hear sky's pundits now...will they go for City as much as they lost the plot with us?
March 18, 201511 yr Carragher opens up with 'City did well tonight' - unbelievable Edited March 18, 201511 yr by The Brit
March 18, 201511 yr Jamie Carragher - won 2005 Champions League; Thierry Henry - won 2009 Champions League; Jamie Redknapp - won F all

March 18, 201511 yr Good second-half from Hart but the game belonged to Messi, for that first-half performance. You didn't want the referee to blow. In fact the referee should be shot for blowing. He should have just let the first-half run on and on forever. How anyone can claim Ronaldo is better than this guy evades me. If you love football you love Messi, simple as that. Forget all the tribal stuff, we watch football because we love football and Messi is a gift to all of us.
March 18, 201511 yr Will be interesting to hear sky's pundits now...will they go for City as much as they lost the plot with us? And the answer is a firm no...
March 18, 201511 yr i'm so glad there is only one more season of CL on sky, won't have to listen to this drivel
March 18, 201511 yr This is the end of sky's coverage of English football in champions league...problem is I doubt bt will be any better
March 18, 201511 yr If you love football you love Messi, simple as that. Forget all the tribal stuff, we watch football because we love football and Messi is a gift to all of us. Actually this is a question which has intrigued me recently - am I predominantly a football fan or a Chelsea fan? Obviously I still watch and enjoy football when Chelsea aren't playing, but judging from my arguments in the other thread I am more than happy to sacrifice quality of football in the name of Chelsea winning.

Chelsea supporter first. Always. No matter what Messi did or didn't do tonight it wasn't close to being an enjoyable or thrilling as watching you own team play, even if it's a youth team game.
March 18, 201511 yr What do Messi and Willian have in common? They both like standing still for a loooooong time over the ball and then .. No, that's where the similarity stops.
March 18, 201511 yr You think Sky is bad? Wait till you hear Savage and those two Scouse twats on BT Sport. I will miss Neville. Always enjoy games when he's commentating. Especially the CL. f**king disgrace.
March 18, 201511 yr This is the end of sky's coverage of English football in champions league...problem is I doubt bt will be any better Shame. Sky's coverage has always been top drawer in my opinion whereas BT still feels amateur. Obviously Sky isn't perfect and Redknapp is a know-nothing twat but really dislike the idea of the Premier European competition being on BT.
March 18, 201511 yr Messi is head and shoulders above anybody in that Barcelona team, and it shows too. He is the orchestrator and when he retires, it will be interesting to see how they cope without him.
