Football is just unpredictable, I know it's easy to just look at a player having a really bad start and saying this is hilarious another big amount of money squandered well done Liverpool. But I just have that gut feeling that Mario will come good.

Honestly I could be very wrong and there is strong signs that I will be very wrong haha! But football is a funny game and unpredictable so I'm just going to stick with that. But I will be delighted if I'm wrong though, I don't want that twat to come good especially for a horrible club such as Liverpool

The thing is that Mario did show promise. I saw some matches with Milan under Allegri & you could tell by the body language that Mario simply didn't give a damn. Just hanging out on the left flank & waited for the ball to come to him. Only trotting on defense & sometimes making a run into the box. Of course Allegri got the blame, but look at him now. I am starting to think he wasn't the problem, but Mario was the problem.

Who is this commentator? He is blaming the manure defense, but that was a wonderful strike. Maybe the build up to the goal, but I won't take anything away from Sessègnon. Where is Andy Gray wen we need him? He would say take 'Take a bow son'. I rather have that type of commentating.

Sorry for the late reply fella, Just saw this now, The pace with which this thread moves on a weekend is too quick for me at times Lol

It depends what you mean by success? If you mean the Champions League then yes definitely, If he is at it against CSKA, We should be able to get 6 points against them which then means a victory against either Bayern at home or Roma away, Depending on the Bayern v Roma results of course. Our league success is not dependent on him because i don't think Dzeko, Jovetic or Dzeko and Jovetic are as big of a down grade in the league as some people think, If we stack the midfield against any of the other 14 Premier League teams we can always score 3/4 goals.

To be honest though i'm not sure i buy this theory that if Aguero stays fit we win the league because if you haven't noticed yet, Chelsea are unbeaten and if they remain unbeaten they win the league. I was with a couple of my rag and Arsenal friends and they were saying stuff like 'It's early yet, Let's wait a bit before we hand them the title' or 'If Costa gets injured they are done' yet on Saturday, Chelsea won without him, A winning streak is hard to stop no matter who plays. The only question Chelsea will face is when that unbeaten run ends, If it ever does, How do they respond? Do they have a 2/3 game blip after that and allow us to bridge the gap to 1 point or even us leading by 1 point? or does the unbeaten run end when the gap is 8 or 11 which nullifies the prospect of having a major blip?

I also think we shouldn't completely write off United's chances, They do have a huge advantage of no CL, and if you take a look at their fixtures after the Manchester Derby all the way through to the new year, Their most toughest of fixtures is Arsenal away, With no mid week excursions much like Liverpool last year, They could go on a winning streak or two of themselves.

Regards to Aguero becoming our best Striker, I think he already he is, From that goal to his consistency, Going through the list of former strikers none can compete with him. I was aware that Chelsea were linked with him, I was also aware that Barca wanted him but Guardiola preferred Alexis Sanchez from Udinese, We hit the jackpot i guess.

The only people getting ahead of themselves are the ones saying we will walk the league, absolutely no way. Wouldn't surprise me if City are number one in the league for a while. But I think we can last out longer, I'm a bit optimistic this season.

Last season we had dodgy results, and by dodgy I mean we would beat Arsenal 6-0 then lose 1-0 to Palace next week. We didn't really have a dip of bad form as far as results where concerned, we seemed to have a dodgy game and get straight back on point. I put that down to Mourinho mostly, I think he will have us set up for this season, but City are absolutely rolling in quality, Aguero is fantastic. Spurs gave you a really tricky game but Aguero really made the difference alone, not just that he even made it a good result.

I have no doubts that City are huge threats, as a matter of fact I wouldn't even be surprised if you won it again but I am sticking with Chelsea this time. I kinda think we have to win it this season, it has been 4 years now and that's long enough for a club with our backing, time to bring that title home again and show that we are back from all that nonsense we had 3 years ago.

He's a fantastic player no doubt about it, just look at him for City when he was in form he was unstoppable, his attitude has benefits but his commitment really needs work, he does need to show more willingness, but being a twat on the pitch and off the pitch isn't always a bad thing when it comes to being a good player, even though Mario can really take the piss at times.

And it seems that I've just missed a really good goal from the United game.

West Brom are scything through the Utd defence. Utd need to spend big in Jan.

Without the ball United don't have much going for them. It is so strange to see West Brom just casually passing the ball around at the edge of the box.

Agreed. It is odd. Last season's pattern is continuing: sides don't respect Utd anymore.

I don't want to jinx anything but looking at this porous midfield has got me pretty excited to see what Oscar and Matic are going to do next week...

Spud you forget that this is a Midlands Derby match. I wouldn't be surprised if Baggies were sacrifising their First Born to the Soccer Gods for a win tonight.

If it stays like this, I'm grabbing some pop corn and visiting redcafe

yep there will cries for The Chosen One to be rehired. I didn't realize this until KO, manure haven't won an away match this season.

It's dumb I know but I wouldn't mind if Chelsea won, As long as we beat West Ham, If we drop points against West Ham then I'm going to have to want them to win, If Chelsea got beat this weekend it does City no favours Lol Despite what people will think, They will go into intolerable mode and I cant have that.

i think City v United at the Etihad is going to be a blood bath - you'll slaughter them

Do Google weigh him on a regular basis then?

He's often been spotted at Wetherspoons Curry Club Thursdays at branches across West London

They're going nuts on redcafe Lol 'Van Persie is past it', 'Blind is not a midfielder', 'Shaw is woeful, We should have kept Evra for another year' and my favourite, 'Never thought id say this but bring Fellaini on'. :laugh2:
