I genuinely don't mind that if it comes about. You practically never hear from Ronald Koeman or any of the Southampton players, their fans are pretty decent and rarely cause trouble, and the club has recovered from what should have logically been transfer market haymakers time and again.

 

If Southampton get plaudits then they deserve it.

He's a young lad with a lot of potential, I actually think he's decent. That's the problem with English players we don't let them make mistakes without vilifying them. You have to make mistakes to improve as a player. I will agree that he's absolutely ridiculous in the way he selects players though. If a guy like Charlie Austin was playing at one of the top clubs they'd have been called up by now.

Continues the tradition of picking players who play (or don't play in the case of Lambert) for bigger clubs rather than 'smaller' ones even though they're in better form. Ridiculous and we'll never even get near a quarter final until a manager picks form & quality over the team they play for.
