November 9, 201411 yr Why would the compere on RMTV's uncensored match review refer to Costa as "a horrible horrible human being"? I'm not familiar with him before he joined us but has he been guilty of something worse than Suarez, either inside or outside of football?
November 9, 201411 yr I can wait, personally... The Shed End would be a lot more boring without you Spud. I will be honest, I've never liked Spurs (simply because my freshman year college roommate was a big fan and we kind of created a rivalry over that). But I wouldn't mind if Spurs won the Europa League, just so you could have something to be proud of! Just don't do well in the Prem! And unless something changes drastically, I don't see Spurs extending their streak of winning a title in each decade since the 50s/60s (whichever it is) and as a sports fan I like to see streaks like that survive. I do like Lamela, Chadli, Eriksen and Kane but hate just about every other player on your squad.

The one light in this situation is that (unless we win the EL) we will not be in Europe next season. It's sad to want that but - God knows why - Thursday eve games are killing us in the PL (that, and the other issues). I agree that our record is at risk. I hope we'll raise our game against CFC as Gem says but it's not a good omen that Stoke (!) are bossing us.
November 9, 201411 yr Yes JT slipped, Stevie Me miscontrolled a simple pass, then slipped, theres the difference! Yes and yes. He miscontrolled the ball if he controlled the ball he wouldn't have slipped. Saying he slipped is bullsh*t and just covers the fact that a player on over 100.000 a week can't control a ball. Another cover up from the red loving media
November 9, 201411 yr Anybody else think Newcastle will be our first defeat of the season? Of course, its the only game I'm going to!
November 9, 201411 yr Hopefully Swansea beat the arsenal later on, be a pretty much perfect weekend then.
November 9, 201411 yr Oh my, what a strike! Tottenham get one back. Nobody ever celebrates with Chadli when he scores.
November 9, 201411 yr Nobody ever celebrates with Chadli when he scores.I do, mentally of course, he's in my fantasy football team... And as long as Spuds aren't winning. Freekick in the edge of the Stoke arena and the Spud kicks it low, pretty soft & straight into the wall. Golden chance that.
November 9, 201411 yr How much longer will Levy give it? Spurs have been woeful this season. They tried AVB, then Sherwood and now Pochettino Nothing's changed, they are just not progressing. It's fantastic to watch

November 9, 201411 yr Maybe levy is the problem He's certainly part of it. Spurs' troubles started with the Bale money; Levy, Baldini and AVB all had their own transfer targets in mind to replace Bale, and ultimately Tottenham bought a mish-mash of them to appease everyone which led to a squad bloated in numbers but devoid of real quality. I look at Spurs' squad and it isn't good enough to challenge for the top 4. There are so many mediocre players there. Edited November 9, 201411 yr by Celery1989

They'll struggle to get above 10th this season.
November 9, 201411 yr People will go on about how they should never have sold Bale but in reality we know that when Real Madrid come calling it turns the players head so it's hard to keep hold of the player, The worrying thing is how Spurs and Liverpool have blown that money so badly, Do their scouts not watch football? or understand team chemistry? I can understand them wanting to build a bigger squad but you can do that by bringing in youth players. It's easy in hindsight but they should have brought in 3/4 maximum with 1 really world class player. Liverpool should have gone hammer n tong at trying to get Sanchez and then with that should have brought in Lovren, Lallana and Balotelli, By bringing in so many players you allow the players to have the excuse of not performing because the others aren't, They can fall back on the time to settle nonsense. It's mind boggling how bad some clubs can be run, I heard a rumour Liverpool might be going in for Doumbia of CSKA Lol If that's the kind of player Brendon thinks will help get Liverpool competing with the big boys again then expect to see him being a pundit on Sunday afternoon Premier League games because he will be out of a job.
November 9, 201411 yr The other thing that buying a world class player can do and is often overlooked, It really gets bums on seats and get's the place buzzing, Forget how he performs it raises the other players by a level or two, I understand Liverpool have a money ball mentality where they want to invest in players for the future and buy low but even Arsenal have realized you need to occasionally buy a world class player or two.
